General Hospital spoilers and updates for Monday, February 5 tease second chances, guilty feelings and teaming up. Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) begs for a second chance, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) has guilty feelings, and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) asks John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) to team up.
General Hospital Spoilers: Welcome Visitor, Unwelcome Behavior
At the Collins house, a grieving Laura Collins (Genie Francis) answered the door to a welcome visitor with unwelcome behavior! Laura had been looking at a photo of Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) as a child (Nicholas Bechtel) and crying when someone knocked on her door. She answered it to a tearful Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) with Ace Prince-Cassadine (Joey and Jay Clay) in his arms.
Obviously she’s happy to see Nikolas after worrying he was dead for nearly two years. But she’s not so happy with his behavior of late, asking him if it’s occurred to him that he belongs in prison!
GH Spoilers: Second Chances
A tense Lucy gets in Martin Gray’s (Michael E. Knight) face and begs him for another chance-but Martin looks unaffected by her pleas. He told her he couldn’t trust her if she was paying more attention to Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) across the room from them than she was to him their last date.
In reality, Lucy was watching Scott with Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) who they were trying to scam out of her money by Scott romancing and marrying her. It doesn’t look like Lucy is getting anywhere with Martin, he’s heard too many stories of her romantic escapades with Scott!
General Hospital Spoilers: Guilty Feelings
Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) is at The Invader, and she can tell something’s really bothering her mom Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn). She teases her saying she bets she can make her smile with just one word, but Alexis just walks away from her behind her desk.
Alexis feels guilty, no doubt about the death of Spencer and her part in having tried to help Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl).
She may feel guilty about both Spencer and Esme’s presumed deaths, if she had paid more attention to Esme’s actions maybe she could have seen the change. Nearly as soon as Esme got her memories back, her old self had returned as well.
GH Spoilers: Consoling Words?
Back with Scott and Lucy, Scott has a strange way with consoling words as he asks Lucy if this guy, meaning Martin, is really worth it? It looks like Lucy’s had to navigate her way through a really bad breakup all because of her scheming with Scott.
She knows Martin would have never stood for her plotting with Scott to get Tracy’s money by his romancing her and marrying her under false pretenses. He may have even told Tracy, although actually she knows what’s going on and playing along with Scott!
General Hospital Spoilers: Teaming Up?
Anna and Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) are still in the hotel room with FBI Agent John Cates, known to Anna as “Jagger”.
They know each other from years ago, even before Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) came to Port Charles-and why they didn’t know each other. He is the late Stone Cates’ (Michael Sutton) older brother and has been in the FBI on the West Coast for years.
Anna asks John to bring them in, because they can work together-right now Anna’s working as a private citizen although Jordan’s the deputy mayor. Time will tell if Anna will take Laura up on her offer to work as Police Commissioner again.
GH Spoilers: Inside Job?
Elsewhere, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) questions Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) about the attack on him and Ava Jerome (Maura West) on his private island.
Sonny had previously talked to Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) about the possibility of it being an inside job, since the attacker knew the ins and outs of the security system.
The shooter knew how to avoid detection and possibly even disable it-only someone in Sonny’s inner circle would know that. They’re not sure if the shooter’s got lousy aim or if he’s intentionally missing as if to send a message. Dante asks Sonny for clarification, is he saying this was an inside job?
