General Hospital spoilers say that a lot of fans can’t help but wonder why Lucas wasn’t more prominently featured during Bobbie’s funeral in Port Charles. And of course, some fans have interesting theories about it. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
General Hospital Spoilers: Was Lucas Pushed To The Side For Carly?
While everyone who is anyone in Port Charles was there to pay their last respects to Bobbie, many viewers couldn’t help but notice that Lucas didn’t have much to say at his own mother’s funeral. Not only that, but it seems like the entire scene focused more on Carly and how she felt throughout the entire ordeal. Couldn’t the writers have given Lucas at least a line or two with something to say?
It goes without saying that many General Hospital fans have had a lot to say about the matter on social media. Some even commented with, “If GH didn’t want to write for Lucas they could have brought RC back as a Lucky recast. If I can’t have JJ RC would be perfect. It was his mother, too who raised a decent human being to be a doctor and no recognition,” along with, “They kept cutting his material even when huge things happened to his sisters or his mother. Hell, he lost two fathers in about 5 year’s time and they didn’t cash in on that. He could have been in more hospital scenes. He decided to go off on his own and is a great model.”

Another fan wrote, “I’m sure I’ll be called a Carly hater (I never deny it) but it does feel like most of the focus is on Carly and Lucas is just an afterthought. Everyone so worried about her and her grief as he just stands there. I get he’s not on regularly but he was Bobbie’s kid too.”

The writers at GH either do not know the history of GH or just are not that good at that craft. The character of Lucas has been an asset to GH storylines in the past and the writers and directors did not do their jobs well by sideling Bobbie’s son.. Jaclyn Z. was Our Bobbie and her presence is missed.
OMG! Get a life, people! There could be many reasons why Lucas wasn’t on camera more that we can know nothing about! Maybe he has a job, didn’t have much time to be away.? Who knows?? Could be anything! He wasn’t in the show that much the last few years and wasn’t as close to Bobbie as Carly was. I get so tired of people picking apart every little thing while saying they love soaps and GH!

Yes, Lucus was pushed to the side… Just to dang gone much of Carly..It’s really Repulsive, disgusting,, annoying, irritating,how the writers have glorified Carly on a peddle stool.. She really is not all that,ever.., She really needs to be knock off that peddle stool and put in the corner some where and not heard or seen for a long time.. There are so many others that deserve and have more screen time…Just ENOUGH of SMUG Carly…

I think this being Bobbie and both of her children should have been at the for front together..the most important..When my Mother died my brother and l stood together as a United front…but this is a soap and they do want the writers want
