General Hospital News: Steve Burton Excluded From Milestone Celebration

General Hospital news says that even though he was a very integral part of the cast for many long years, it looks like his memory and all of the work he did on the canvas will remain in the past. It appears as though actor Steve Burton, who was best known for his role as Jason Morgan on the hit ABC soap, has been excluded from the show’s 60th anniversary celebrations. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

General Hospital News: Steve Burton Excluded From Milestone Celebration

According to new reports, General Hospital will air ‘60 Years of Stars and Storytelling’ as a Primetime Special airing on January 4th on the ABC network. And while many of the soap’s stars like Maurice Benard, Nancy Lee Grahn and Laura Wright were included in the special, Steve Burton is nowhere to be seen. Of course, a lot of fans want to know why.

As many General Hospital viewers can recall, both Steve Burton and his former castmate Ingo Rademacher were let go from their roles on the show when they refused to comply with the network’s vaccine mandate back in 2021. While Steve managed to find a new home on Days of Our Lives, Ingo has been left without work ever since he was pink slipped from the soap.

Many General Hospital fans assume the reason why Steve Burton was not included in this 60th anniversary special is because he was initially fired from the show. But at the same time, fans think that he should come back just because Jason Morgan was such a huge part of the show. He at least deserves some sort of mention, right?

General Hospital News: Will Jason Morgan Ever Come Back?

So far Steve Burton himself has not made any comments about the matter.

Now as far as what’s next on the show, fans will simply have to tune in to find out. General Hospital airs weekdays on the ABC network. Check your local listings for times. Watch this space as we have a feeling there is more drama to come.

From what I just read, leaving Steve Burton aka Jason Morgan, out of General Hospital’s 60th Anniversary ceremony was a huge injustice to longtime GH fans. I have been a faithful fan since 1976 and this was the last straw for me. I will forever have my memories, but I will not be watching GH anymore nor will I read any more soap spoilers from here on out. You have ruined it with your lousy “woke” ideologies. And kudos to Steve Burton for being a true hero and standing up for his rights in refusing the poisonous jab. The truth has set him free. Merry Christmas!
