Days of Our Lives comings and goings say Brandon Barash is soon going to say good-bye to Salem. The actor, who is best known for his role as both Stefan DiMera and Jake Lambert on the hit Peacock soap, has been taking off contract and is now on a recurring status. This, of course, has prompted a lot of fans to wonder whether or not he’ll be making his way back to Port Charles anytime soon. Here’s what you need to know.
Days of Our Lives News: Brandon Barash Is Out, Eyeing General Hospital
Before Brandon took on his role at Days of Our Lives, he played Johnny Zaccharia on General Hospital. And now there’s some speculation that he might go back to his roots in Port Charles, seeing how there’s a chance that he might not come back to Salem anytime soon.
So far Brandon himself has not made any comments about his next move within the soap opera world, but many Days of Our Lives fans have had a lot to say about it on social media. Many commented with, “It looks like Brandon Barash is listed as recurring as of today. I wonder if this drug thing is his exit story. They should just write him off with Gabi. Give them a happy ending,” along with, “Days keep downsizing this cast but keeping the characters who don’t care about but either asking the others to recur or leave maybe the ones who staying will work for anything in order they can have a job but others don’t care they want to be paid right plus gave them work.”
And then there was this comment as well, “Well then @GeneralHospital could use Johnny Zachara back plus wake up Lulu.”
As much as fans are going to miss seeing Brandon on Days of Our Lives, they are keeping their fingers crossed that he makes the switch to the hit ABC sudser.
