The Young and the Restless Spoiler UPDATE Monday, October 2: Audra & Nikki Grill New Hire, Hayley Erin Debuts
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, October 2 tease that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) meets with his brother Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) to share intel.
Billy shares how his confrontation with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) went. And he hopes Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) emails will force Tucker to give up on his bid to take over Jabot.
Jack is also hopeful about the power of the emails to make Tucker surrender. But if that doesn’t happen he spills about using Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) as a contingency plan.

Phyllis is a computer hacker extraordinaire, and she has the talent to hack into Tucker’s computer to find out how far out his revenge plan is.
She is the one who hack into Jabot’s accounts and made it look like Billy is embezzling, so Jack will put the screws to her to do what needs to be done to redeem herself and make up for her initial dirty deed.
In the end Billy and Jack have a good feeling about their plan and it’s nice to see the brothers working together, instead of against each other.

Elsewhere Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) tries to assure his wife Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), that he is fine and dandy no matter what his traitorous daughter says about him.
Dethroned Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is telling anyone who will listen that Victor is incapable of running Newman Enterprises, and casting doubt on his soundness of mind.
Victor finds himself in a defensive stance when Nikki confronts him over his recent decision making and reminds her of the job he gave her to do as CEO.

As such, Nikki has a new assistant to interview, Claire Grace (Hayley Erin, ex-Abby Newman on Y&R and ex-Kiki Jerome on General Hospital).
Claire Grace has been described as an ambitious ladder climber and it could turn out she has a connection to Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), another striver.

Nikki and Audra conduct a joint interview of Claire, who tells a little bit about herself giving fans a glimpse into who she is. Nikki herself is a social climber, and she was once a young filly in a man’s world which may be why she seems willing to give Audra a million chances. Explosive show spoilers tease that Nikki takes a liking to Claire and makes her a personal project.
However, Claire may be a master manipulator with a sweet as pie façade! Other than Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case), it’s hard to find another sweetness and light character, so it’s a pretty sure bet that Claire comes with her own set of baggage!
