It goes without saying that many The Young and the Restless fans have had a lot to say about the matter on social media. Some have even commented with, “I’m just wondering why it was necessary to make both Adam and Nick so pathetic over a woman whose entire personality is frowning, waffling, and drawing little sketches,” along with, “The way that character had every bit of uniqueness and personality sucked out of her by being forced into this, among other suspect storylines. I don’t get it. And for me, it’s too late, she just needs to go. I get annoyed just seeing her. Maybe she could be resuscitated on Bold.”

Another Y&R critic wrote, “If they want Adam and Nick to be believably down this bad and fighting with each other over a woman, it should be Sharon. That would both be understandable and make sense.”
