No Royal Reconciliation: Prince Harry Trashes His Family Yet Again

Prince Harry has done it yet again. The Duke of Sussex has made it pretty clear that he’s not interested in a royal reconciliation as he has once again trashed his family in his latest Netflix documentary, Heart of Invictus. In it, Harry says that he didn’t get the support that he needed from his family after his mother Princess Diana died back in 1997. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

No Royal Reconciliation: Prince Harry Trashes His Family Yet Again

Meghan Markle’s husband claims that he didn’t get the support that he needed when his mother died when he was just 12 years old or when he returned home after serving in Afghanistan. Prince Harry claims that for the royal family, it was just business as usual despite the fact that Harry felt like he was struggling with his mental health.

In Heart of Invictus, Harry says, “The trigger to me was actually returning from Afghanistan, but the stuff that was coming up was from…1997 from the age of 12. The biggest struggle for me is that no one around me could really help.”

The prince continued, “I didn’t have that support structure, that network, or that expert advice to identify what was actually going on with me.”

Harry went on to say that he learned how to suppress his feelings and his emotions on his own, which didn’t work out too well for him. That’s because he began acting out and rebelling, much to the surprise of everyone around him.

Prince Harry Didn’t Mention His Brother’s Name

Harry continued, “I was bouncing off the walls. Like, what is going on here? I’m feeling everything as opposed to being numb. Unfortunately, like most of us, the first time you really consider therapy is when you’re lying on the floor in the fetal position, probably wishing that you dealt with some of this stuff previously.”

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter. However, many British tabloid sites have pointed out that Harry did credit his brother Prince William for helping him get back on his feet after he returned from Afghanistan, but he didn’t mention his brother’s name in his documentary.
