Fired General Hospital Star Ingo Rademacher Left Humiliated By The ABC Network

General Hospital news says that Ingo Rademacher has unfortunately lost his court battle against the ABC network after he was fired for refusing to comply with their vaccine mandate. Apparently, the judge in the case sided with the network, which maintained that Ingo’s opposition to getting the vaccine was based on his health reasons and now his religious beliefs, which he had maintained at the time. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

Fired General Hospital Star Ingo Rademacher Left Humiliated By The ABC Network

Earlier this year, ABC claimed that Ingo would have been let go anyway because his character, Jasper Jacks, wasn’t as prominently featured on the show as he used to be. ABC’s lawyer, Steven Marenberg, argued that Ingo doesn’t have a valid case and for many different reasons, too. He said that the network had the right to cancel the actor’s contract in six-month increments as long as they gave six weeks’ notice and its actors had to comply with ABC’s policies. However, Ingo wasn’t the only person that was fired from General Hospital. His former co-star Steve Burton was also let go for not complying with the network’s vaccine mandate. Yet, he did manage to get another soap opera job on Days of Our Lives several months later.

If that weren’t enough, in March, Ingo filed new paperwork to oppose the network’s motion to have the lawsuit tossed. He claims that he was fired because of his political beliefs. As many of his fans know, Ingo is a proud and very outspoken right-wing Republican.

What’s Next For Ingo Rademacher?

As many General Hospital fans can recall, Ingo spent a lot of his time during the pandemic questioning the COVID vaccine efficacy, along with the mandates and in some cases, the passports. Some of his social media posts were so controversial, that the hashtag #FireIngo even surfaced on Twitter at one point.

So far Ingo himself has not made any comments about the matter, but we will definitely update you with all of the latest details as they come in. Watch this space.
