Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Xander Gives Chloe An Offer She Can’t Deny
According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, Xander suggests that he and Gwen hire Chloe at The Spectator. Xander believes that this would be the perfect solution. Actor Paul Telfer, who plays Xander on the hit Peacock soap, explains to the publication in a new interview, “Chloe needs a job. They need someone at the paper. So why not kill two birds with one stone? In Xander’s head, he’s convinced himself that Chloe is the perfect candidate.”
Days of Our Lives spoilers say that unfortunately, Gwen doesn’t think it’s a good idea. Paul explains, “Xander’s completely bemused that Gwen would have a problem with it. They have a nice juicy argument about it. Xander’s like ‘Why do you care? You are with Alex now.’ And Xander’s not ‘with’ Chloe. This is a professional situation.”
Ultimately, Gwen goes with Xander’s plan and allows him to hire Chloe, for better or for worse. But at the same time, she acts as if she doesn’t care. Meanwhile, Brady also asks Chloe to return to work at Basic Black, until he finds out that Xander has offered Chloe a job. The two end up getting into a heated argument. Paul adds, “Even if there isn’t anything going on romantically between him and Chloe, Xander can’t help turn the screws a little bit with Brady. He can’t help but enjoy that Brady feels insecure and is worrying what Chloe and Xander are up to at night in their apartment.”

After Brady leaves, Chloe and Xander share a moment together. Paul says, “They get to this nice point of never quite crossing the line outside of their friendship. They are generally excited to see what happens, because the paper needs help at this point.”
