Kin took to his Twitter account to write, “I just found out Scotty @GeneralHospital was written out I thank u @GeneralHospital fans for decades of supporting me!!!”

Of course, it didn’t take long at all for Kin’s Twitter followers to respond to the shocking news. Many of them wrote, “Oh wow, that’s surprising. Thank YOU, Kin, for the many years of happy viewing memories. Your work – and that of your colleagues – has been important to so many of us,” another fan wrote, “Not something I expected to read this of all weeks. How do you celebrate 60 years of GH without Scotty? If true they ain’t got the good sense God gave a goose.”

Another fan even suggested, “Hey maybe it’s time to go back to Bold and Beautiful–Taylor needs a fella and Dr. Brian Carey would fit into current story lines of Sheila Carter being back. Dr. Brian Carey was a psychiatrist and so is Taylor and Ridge is about to waffle back to Brooke again!”
