General Hospital spoilers and updates for Thursday, March 9 tease sad regrets, salacious secrets and takedown plans in Port Charles. Ava Jerome (Maura West) sadly regrets she can’t help, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) has a salacious secret he wants kept, and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) is anxious for a takedown!

General Hospital Spoilers: Nina Reeves Catches Up

In front of the Nurses’ Station at GH, Nina is shocked when Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) hands her back a belated wedding gift. It may just be a gift card inside the white envelope, but Curtis succinctly says he can’t accept and hands it back to her. He had just talked to Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and it was a testy exchange, even though his father Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) had tried peacemaking efforts.

It looks like Curtis will not ever forgive Portia for not telling him that Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) could be his daughter. He’s not listening to anything she says and shutting her down.

GH Spoilers: Sad Regrets

Meanwhile, Trina briefs Ava on the latest situations in her life, but Ava sadly regrets she can’t help her with at least one of them. They haven’t really talked since the night of Curtis and Portia’s wedding, which looks like it’s headed for annulment or divorce. Trina’s world fell apart when she found out that her mother had lied to her about her father’s identity her whole life. She will never accept anyone except Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) as her father, and he feels the same-he’s the father that counts. The other situation of course involves Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and his fight for custody of his baby brother Ace Prince-Cassadine (Joey and Jay Clay).

General Hospital Spoilers: Maxie Jones And Her Big Ideas

Elsewhere, it looks like Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) might be planning Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) wedding. Maxie is excited about something that Bobbie has come up with although Maxie likely has some big ideas of her own. She tells her somebody needs to do something about it!

They’ve got a lot to do in a short amount of time if indeed it is Michael and Willow’s wedding they’re talking about. But Maxie is an expert at that sort of thing, so they’ll figure something out quickly.

GH Spoilers: Salacious Secrets

At the Metro Court, Victor’s got a salacious secret he wants kept as he puts his shirt back on and tells someone he thanks them for not talking about last night. More than likely it’s going to be Deputy Mayor Eileen Ashby (Heather Mazur) he’s talking to, since she previously handed a hotel room key to him. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) listened to his troubles, talking about his grief for Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) but told him he’d never touch her again. Eileen, however, had just come from a briefing at the safe house where Anna Devane, (Finola Hughes) Valentin and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) had been probing her for information about Victor. She told them some of the truth but maybe not all of it, and maybe even some outright lies to mislead them!

General Hospital Spoilers: Felicia Scorpio’s Ready For A Takedown

Felicia, previously absent from the questioning session of Ashby, is now at the safe house with Anna and Valentin, and angrily says “she’s going down first”! That’s likely to be Eileen, and Valentin nods his head in agreement, although Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) could overhear part of that and be horrified. If so, she’ll be reassured they were in no way talking about her.

It sounds like maybe those codes in the Ice Princess diamonds didn’t exist or didn’t check out or something. Robert’s had the necklace locked in his desk drawer at the District Attorney’s office since they put Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) into hiding.

GH Spoilers: Laura Collins Meets With Eileen Ashby

Elsewhere, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) meets with Eileen, and it does sound like she spouted a line of bull to Anna, Robert and Valentin. Eileen likely wants to know what to do next since she seemed raring to go with working with them to take Victor down. Laura tells her only that they are biding their time until she can be useful to them. In other words, stand down.

General Hospital Spoilers: Unpleasant Family Reunion

Meanwhile, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) has a rather unpleasant family reunion with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). He’s found out she’s been going to the high stakes poker game in the lower level of The Savoy and he’s not happy. He stares her down as only Sonny can and asks her what she’s doing with Selina Wu (Lydia Look) who he refers to as “Ms. Wu”.

Basically, she’s been bankrupting herself, Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) and quite possibly Deception Cosmetics since she had a corporate card. Sonny’s used to someone being in trouble with gambling after dealing with his father, Mike Corbin (Max Gail) and his proclivity for the ponies!
