General Hospital spoilers say that even fans knew all along that the truth would come out sooner rather than later. Nikolas is absolutely floored to find out that Esme is indeed well and alive after he figured that she had died after her heated encounter with Ava. General Hospital Spoilers: Nikolas Discovers The Truth About Esme
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, actress Avery Pohl, who plays Esme on the hit ABC soap, previews, “Nikolas sees her when she goes back to where it all began, Windermere. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer, right? That is very much her mindset. And she did live there for a year and for the most part, after leaving high school, this was her home, so why not go back there?”
General Hospital spoilers say though in Esme’s case, she sure gets more than just an earful when she eavesdrops on Nikolas and Victor’s very intense conversation. She certainly feels as though Victor would do anything to eliminate her, if you know what we mean.
Avery continued, “I really don’t believe that Esme sees Victor as a threat. I think that Esme sees Victor more as a challenge. Esme is constantly following people left and right, at least to a certain extent, and Victor has definitely got her number. While she is aware that he is a powerful man, I believe she is thinking more about how she can use that to her advantage rather than it being a drawback to her.”
General Hospital Spoilers: What’s Next For Esme?
That said though, when Esme tries to break into Nikolas’ safe when he stumbles upon her, it’s a moment that makes both characters stop in their tracks. Just as his shock wears off over her presence, NIkolas accuses Esme of having returned for revenge and moves to call the cops on her. Uh-oh!
