With the ongoing war in Iran and the tensions in the Middle East, the First Lady decided to tell the world exactly what she thinks in a new statement that she released over the weekend.
Melania has always advocated for the safe return of displaced children and teens in many different but also volatile areas of the world.
And while she didn’t specify the conflict in Iran, the First Lady did share her thoughts after it was reported that several Ukrainian teens were rescued from Russian-occupied territories.
She wrote, “Reunifying children with their loved ones in this region of the world remains one of the most important global issues today.
I am encouraged that both sides remain committed to ongoing cooperation, raising the safety and well-being of children above this abhorrent war.”
Seeing how Donald Trump is known as the leader of the free world, there’s a good chance that he can’t help but think that his wife’s comments are aimed at him. After all, if there’s one person who could stop a war from continuing, it would be the President of the United States.
Melania Trump Stands By Her Statement
However, it’s been four long years now and that still hasn’t happened. Instead of ending the war in Ukraine, Donald Trump ignited even more conflict in Iran. And whether or not there’s going to be a quick ending with that one remains to be seen.
So far the White House has not made any comments about the matter, although at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said.
After all, if there’s anything that we’ve learned about Donald Trump and how he operates, it’s that he doesn’t want to be seen as weak. Not only that, but he also doesn’t want to be seen as wrong when his wife is right.
