The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, April 8 point to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) working over Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) while Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) has life-changing news to process.
First off, Phyllis wants Cane to confide in her about his revenge plan and tries to persuade him that she’s on his side. Sure, Jan.
Phyllis talks up her big plans for Summers Conglomerate hoping that Cane is impressed and will want to be partners again.
Phyllis Persuades Cane
Phyllis points out that she has a brand-new company to run, while Cane is running on fumes with Arabesque. Will she also point out that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) messed them both over, and use this as a bargaining chip?
In other words, Phyllis tries her best to convince Cane that what she wants, he should also want. How far will she go? They did sleep together in the beginning ….
Victor is Public Enemy Number One
Elsewhere, Dr. Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) drops a bombshell on unsuspecting Holden. It turns out that Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore) is Holden’s bio dad but he never knew this.
Why is Stephanie telling him this now? Because Malcolm has aplastic anemia and needs a bone marrow donor. Wow. How would you feel if life-altering truth is told to you only because it benefits someone else?
Stephanie is now a doctor in Manhattan and Malcolm is her former flame. Obviously the expectation is that Holden gets tested to see if he’s a bone marrow match. But once again, how would you react if you were in his position?
Holden’s Shock
Malcolm sees the end of Stephanie and Holden’s confrontation but has no idea she’s talking to his flesh and blood.
Spoilers indicate that Stephanie turns her attention to Malcolm next as she prepares to drop the incredible paternity bombshell on him.
Other sizzling The Young and the Restless spoilers show that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will learn that Holden is her half-brother soon, as they share Malcom as a father.
