Days of Our Lives spoilers note that fans have known for a long while now that Billy Flynn was exiting the role of Chad DiMera.
Still, as the Peacock soap shoots so far in advance, viewers weren’t sure when his character would exit the canvas. Now the guessing game is over, as Flynn’s final airdate has been revealed.
Salem Says Goodbye to Billy Flynn
According to Days of Our Lives spoilers, Flynn’s final episode as Chad is Tuesday, February 17.
In addition to Flynn, Cary Christopher will exit the role of Thomas DiMera, and it’ll be Autumn Gendron’s (Charlotte DiMera) last day on the soap, too.
The family will head to Arizona on a family road trip to re-bond after the entire “custody agreement” debacle. Thankfully, Chad retained custody of his children, so the trio is slated
to visit Will Horton (Chander Massey) and Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) to enjoy some fun in the sun!
In related news, February 17 will also mark the last airdate of Michael Roark, as he exits the role of Jeremy Horton.
Goodbye Salem, Hello Genoa City
Flynn left Days of Our Lives for another soap opera, The Young and the Restless, where he stepped into an already established character, Cane Ashby.
Flynn made his explosive debut in June 2025, where viewers initially believed he was the mysterious ‘Aristotle Duma’, only to be revealed as the Cane recast, a role originally played by Daniel Goddard from 2007 to 2019.
While Days of Our Lives fans will miss Chad, they won’t have to wait too long to see him once again. Conner Floyd, a Y&R alum (ex-Chance Chancellor), is scheduled to debut in Salem as Chad DiMera this coming April.
Flynn joined Days in 2014 and enjoyed a nice run on the Peacock soap, earning a number of Daytime Emmy nominations in the process, and quickly becoming a fan favorite.
