B&B Spoilers: Taylor Regrets Rejecting Deacon – Drove Him Straight Back To Sheila?

Inevitable at this point, and it’s only a matter of time before they fall back into each other’s arms.

However, there is one thing that’s bothering Sheila. How did Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) turn down Deacon’s proposal?

Why Taylor Said No

Deacon had been pining after Taylor for a while and encouraged her to give up on Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and move on with her life.

For Deacon, this was huge, and he was certain it would drive Taylor into his arms. However, he may have rushed his plan a bit with the hasty proposal.

Seeing Sheila and Deacon reconnect after he wore his heart on his sleeve and gave it his all in a proposal has to be crazy for Taylor to see.

Of course, she’s also worried about her daughter, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), with Sheila still around, even if she has reformed. Nothing will change the fact that Sheila shot her daughter.

Regret For The Wrong Reason?

Watching Deacon and Sheila spending time together again may have Taylor feeling a certain kind of way.

On one hand, she had every right to turn down his proposal, and she can be with whoever she wants to be with. However, she may have inadvertently driven him back to the arms of Sheila.

On the surface, it’s not a big deal. After all, if she didn’t want to be with Deacon, why should she care who he ends up with? Well.

In her case, the ‘who’ is a big reason why. Sheila is by all accounts a terrible person. Not that Taylor’s hands are clean, but Sheila’s kind of the boogeyman-woman around those parts.

And she’s put Steffy through a lot of trauma. Not to mention what’s around the corner. Should the news break about Steffy cheating on John ‘Finn’ Fnnegan (Tanner Novlan) and ending up pregnant, Taylor may want to keep an eye out for Sheila if she comes to avenge her son’s honor.
