Having a scene partner that is an inanimate object, the cat, reinforced just how brilliant Haiduk’s performances are. It also appears that this storyline is heading toward a climax and conclusion, meaning that this great actor won’t be on the show much longer.
Hopefully, Patty survives so that Haiduk can reprise her role in the future.
Victor Newman Made A Half-Promise To His Wife
Victor never actually told Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) that he ended his battle with Jack. He simply said that his love for Nikki outweighed his loathing of Bergman’s character.
It would seem that Victor isn’t interested in putting Jack’s life in danger. That’s a reasonable assessment after viewers witnessed his reaction when learning about the supposed heart attack.
The truth is that Victor wants Jack alive so he can spar with him. He’s his top foil, and Braeden’s character enjoys believing that he’s always one-upping him. So, hopefully that viewpoint holds.
Sally Spectra Took A Reasonable Chance
Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) was touched that Adam thought she wanted to see him because something happened to the baby she’s having with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
Adam was relieved to learn that Sally and the baby are fine. Then he was surprised at her admission that a larger platform than Spectra-Charles was needed to promote a media message.
Her reveal about Jack’s heart attack deception represented a reasonable chance. She knows that Adam cares about her and that he considers Jack to be a friend.
Here’s hoping that the efforts everyone is making prevent Patty from causing any more damage in Genoa City, Wisconsin, and that she’s recaptured by Detective James Burrow (Matt Cohen) and his officers.
Patty’s had an extended run since returning, but it’s time to wrap with a conclusion that hopefully leaves room for further adventures down the daytime road.
