The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is trying to push Forrester Creations forward. She’s concerned about the ongoing comparisons to a company that should be nothing more than a startup, Logan.
However, on the personal front, a jet has landed. And on that plane is her husband’s birth mother.
Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) used soapy magic and bought a last-minute first -class ticket to Monaco. The unlikely nature of her also having that seat directly beside her son is part of the daytime experience.
Steffy Forrester Finnegan Rejects Daytime Magic
Steffy told her dad, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), and stepmother, Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang), the truth. Under no circumstances will she ever trust Sheila.
However, viewers saw John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) reiterate that Sheila is his birth mother. That is the basis of his recently saying that he has love in his heart for her.
The unbreakable bond that Ridge and Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) have with Steffy is the same that she has with her children. But that is where the comparison ends with Sheila, at least in Steffy’s mind.
The brutality of all Sheila did in the past can’t be verbalized away. Anything she says about reforming her life, even if that proves true, doesn’t override what Steffy understandably feels about Sheila. No one rational can blame her.
John Finn Finnegan Remains Resolute
Finn values his marriage more than his feelings for Sheila. He recognizes that she’s changed and told her that she deserves better.
What Sheila shared about losing Deacon to Steffy’s mother resonates with him and his wife. While he believed that outcome meant it could be best to consider her suggestion of limited visitation, on their terms, Steffy rejected it out of hand.
Being married should be about Finn sacrificing for Steffy and vice versa. But she doesn’t see this specific issue as negotiable. But should it be?
Sheila Carter Doesn’t Give Up
Finn reacted with a version of this section header during the unexpected trip he took with Sheila to Monaco. His demeanor projected annoyance because of how forcefully Steffy responded to his latest pitch for mercy.
Before Monaco, there was no shot, pun intended, that Steffy was adjusting her cemented stance. But that was before her arrival with Finn, in B&B’s annual summer location setting.
Sheila shot Steffy and Finn behind Il Giardino, in the coldest of all possible blood, and left them for dead. That, in addition to everything else she’s done to the Forrester family and many others.
Now, she wants forgiveness and acceptance?
Normally, that would never happen. But this is daytime, and Sheila and those who’ve chosen to support her on the other side of the screen are hopeful that the Monaco miracle happens, that it’s believable soap.
