The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: RJ’s Shocking New Path – Eric Saw It Coming All Along
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that RJ Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti) knew who he loved from the first moment. But Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) dismissed her reaction to him as a physical attraction.
Viewers were repeatedly told that Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) adoptive status meant that RJ and Electra sharing the same last name wasn’t an issue. The spark they saw between these two young characters also foreshadowed what’s come to pass.
Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) is a member of a despised clan. So, as he often is, Eric Forrester (John McCook) was proven right in his pronouncement that Foresters and Spencers don’t mix.
The Spencer Family Is Different
It’s not that Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) is in a different economic class when compared to the Forresters. No, he’s rich like they are.
But the Forrester family’s fortune has been built through what Eric believes are honestly earned means. The fashion house that he founded with his late wife, Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery), became famous worldwide because of its focus on the solid relationships created with its customers and business associates.
Sure, behind the scenes there was as much, if not more, drama when compared to Spencer Publications, which was part of Bill’s legacy. But that operation was built on exploiting people, at least in Eric’s opinion.
Electra Forrester’s Love Wasn’t Enough
Bill’s son Will used to be a nice little boy who looked up to his father as though he was never wrong. B&B’s writing staff SORAS’d (soap opera rapid aging syndrome) the character Morrow now plays.
He became Electra’s instant first love. She became his when they famously ran into each other in the Forrester Creations’ hallway that’s between the executive suite, stage left, and the multipurpose design room, stage right.
Their love story was sweet and replete with multiple points of drama. Electra was bothered by Luna Nozawa’s (Lisa Yamada) stunning pregnancy, but that didn’t cause her to leave him.
As has been said since she was forced to leave town, Ivy Forrester’s (Ashleigh Brewer) protective methods were wrong, yet she was proven right about Will. Electra had to learn through repeated heartache that Will wasn’t right for her, at least not right now.
RJ Forrester Becomes A Temporary Boyfriend?
It’s easy to see that RJ’s path is clear to Electra. She likes him, knows that he cares about her, they work together, and Will has turned to Melissa Dylan (Sydney Bullock).
Firing Will, and being allowed to do so by his grandfather and parents, was extra sweet. That also set up the next act in this romance play.
However, Will and the viewers heard Electra tell Will that she loved him during their last meeting. That happened at the beach house when she reaffirmed that they are finished.
So, RJ isn’t carrying Will’s baggage and naturally projects as Electra’s next love interest. But if she doesn’t fall deeper in love with him than she seemingly still is with Will, then maybe he’s a temporary boyfriend who eventually is devastated when Electra eventually, inevitably returns to him.
