The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Adam’s Reckless Gamble Sparks Victor’s Brutal Payback
The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is again behaving foolishly. He believes that his father will never learn that he paid Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) money for Newman Media.
The likelihood that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will choose to drop his interest in this unexplained issue is zero. Adam wasn’t prepared for the pointed questions that the restored head of Newman Enterprises peppered him with or the backup he called in.
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) was on it. She quickly arrived at the Ranch while Adam and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) were present and then questioned Sally with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) present at his home.
Chelsea Lawson Didn’t Want To Attack Sally Spectra
Like Adam, Chelsea retains the guilt they created when cheating together. Devoted fans recall that Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) OCD diagnosis impacted his parents dramatically.
They came together to support their son, in what was a purposeful storyline that was intended to address a current topic. Daytime has long woven real-world information into storylines as a way to remain relevant and make emotional impacts with viewers.
Adam and Chelsea were thrown off course by what they learned at that point in the plot. It caused them to revert to a more comfortable time in each other’s lives, which led to their romantic reconnection and eventual forced spilling of the truth.
Sally Spectra Faced Broken Trust
Adam worked his way back into Sally’s heart after wronging her. He regained trust after they lost their daughter, Ava, who died at birth.
But Adam’s status was later damaged when he chose to be with Chelsea and also didn’t admit what he’d done to Sally despite being given multiple opportunities to do so. That sunk their revived connection and resulted in his enduring reunion with Chelsea.
Sally and Billy took comfort in each other and formed their own bond. Today, they’re engaged and expecting a child. Her pregnancy was the leading reason why Adam and Chelsea didn’t want to throw in with Victor and go after Spectra Charles.
Victor Newman Couldn’t Care Less
Victor wouldn’t purposely target Sally because she’s pregnant. But the baby she’s having isn’t Adam’s. Instead, she’s going to give birth to Billy’s offspring.
The above makes it more likely that Victor will go after Spectra Charles without restraint when he inevitably learns what Adam did. Feeling shut out, Adam admitted that he had no loyalty to his father when going behind his back to broker a deal with Sally to retake control of Newman Media.
The biggest projected loser in this development is Adam. He, more than anyone else, will be targeted by Victor for punishment.
However, Adam’s goal was to protect Sally. Here’s hoping that the Moustache isn’t feeling particularly vengeful and attacks Spectra Charles to teach Adam an additional lesson.
