It seems like it really doesn’t matter if she shows up to the party or not, because someone, somewhere will have a reason to criticize her anyway.
Melania Trump Criticized For Being ‘Ignorant’
Clearly, we are talking about Melania Trump as the First Lady of the United States is now being slammed for being ‘too ignorant.’
That’s because according to the Washington Post, she didn’t show up for the second White House Correspondents Dinner that took place over the weekend.
Just to recall, the first one back in April ended early when gun shots rang out in the room.
There were even photos that showed the First Lady looking absolutely startled and even terrified after realizing that there was someone in the room that wanted her husband, President Donald Trump, dead, per the New York Times.
Well, as much as Melania Trump has been fulfilling her duties in her role as the First Lady of the United States, this was a dinner that she simply just wanted to opt out of. That’s not because she didn’t want to go. After all, she did show up to the first one.
Instead, it’s because she’s not going to go through the same ordeal twice. But according to many of her critics, they think that she was simply being ignorant by not showing up and at least supporting Donald Trump by being by his side.

But if there’s anything that we’ve learned about how Melania Trump operates over the years, it’s that if she doesn’t want to do something, you better believe it’s not going to happen. When Melania says no, she means no.
And no amount of criticism is clearly going to change her mind about it, either. Sure, it might not be a good look but the First Lady would rather be at home than sit through another dinner at the White House at this point.
So far Melania Trump herself has not made any comments about the criticism she’s received, although at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said. Watch this space as we have a feeling there is so much more to come.
