Thomas Forrester returned to The Bold and the Beautiful in late 2025 and was supposed to be part of Forrester Creations’ Hope For The Future revival.
After Matthew Atkinson checked in and stirred up some drama, his character Thomas seems to have vanished off the face of the planet. Where did Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) son go?

When Thomas Forrester strolled back in to Forrester Creations in December 2025, fans speculated online about all of the chaos he was going to cause.
Was he going to ruin Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) marriage again or go attack his father’s wife again?
Interestingly, Thomas did a whole lot of nothing and proclaimed he was just there for the fashion and got to sketching.
Thomas Forrester never announced he was leaving town and frankly we don’t even know when he left. The Bold and the Beautiful has a horrible habit of putting characters on the backburner and forgetting about them.
It really makes no sense that Thomas Forrester isn’t involved in HFTF getting shut down or Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) upcoming exit from his family’s company.
Now that the Forresters are preparing to go to battle against Logan, wouldn’t they want all hands on deck?
B&B Spoilers: Is A Thomas Recast Coming
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers hint that part of the reason that Thomas is MIA is because of Matthew Atkinson’s status on the show.
The soap hunk just got married to his wife Brytnee Ratledge in June 2023 and then they welcomed their first baby in 2024.
Last month the happy couple took to social media and announced they were expecting a second baby.
If Atkinson is stepping back from the daytime show to spend more time with his family, there’s a very real possibility that TPTB will recast the role.
