The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Hope’s Sneaky Gamble – Forrester Creations Claims Intellectual Property Theft?
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) had had enough. She wasn’t going to allow Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) to play games anymore and made a decision.
However, Hope didn’t quit. She hedged her bets in what feels like a legal gamble. Fans have to be wondering how soon anyone at Logan will realize that Hope’s jump to their fledgling fashion house could create serious legal problems.
Rather than provide her resignation, as was anticipated, Hope said she was taking a leave of absence. That was a curious and unexpected take that played off what recently happened with Eric Forrester (John McCook).
Lessons Learned From Eric Forrester
Eric was fed up. He felt hurt and disillusioned and was right to act on both.
Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) genuinely meant well, but he badly bungled the compassion and concern he had for his father. Devoted viewers recall that McCook’s character has endured some health issues in recent years, with his health being a serious concern.
Deciding that Eric couldn’t handle the stress of regular involvement at the company he co-founded decades ago was understandable.
But the writing staff created a mostly believable scenario, where Ridge and Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) pushed Eric out.
Ridge and Brooke didn’t know Eric was secretly working for Logan because he wanted Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) and Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) to keep his secret, knowing that they would explode, and that happened.
Hope Logan Spencer Paying Her Mother Back
Hope falsely claimed that Brooke sided with Ridge over her and then cavorted with him after he rejected her co-Chief Executive Officer pitch. Hope conveniently forgot that she talked her mother into the idea of supplanting Steffy at FC.
But Noelle’s arguably self-involved character also chose not to recognize that her mother only asked Ridge for one favor after he said that he wouldn’t replace Steffy.
Brooke wanted Ridge to advocate, a modern cheeky term that is used in this version of Los Angeles, California, that is a replacement for champion, go to bat, or support, for Hope, and he has.
Hope for the Future has been greenlighted as soon as Eric’s next collection is unveiled. But Hope has already jumped to Logan.
Bill Spencer Is Shrewd And So Is Logan’s Head
Katie needs to be careful with Hope, whom viewers assume is under an active contract with FC.
So, she certainly can’t use her HFTF name at Logan and wouldn’t because of the circumspect manner in which she’s begun the next chapter of her soapy fashion career. Bill will likely offer counsel, as will Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) in this regard.
But is Hope’s mere presence at FC’s newest competitor in and of itself illegal?
That question is one that Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) will likely focus on as soon as the news about Hope’s departure is known. Brooke will see that as a betrayal, and the next phase of this sour family battle rolls on.
