General Hospital spoilers reveal that, as usual, Alexis Davis has a full plate in the land of Port Charles.
She’s got he full-time job as a lawyer, while trying to be the best grandmother she can be to Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante) and Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn).
In addition, Alexis is working overtime to deflect her guilty feelings surrounding Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) and her exoneration in Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison).
Not to mention how she tries to support adult daughters, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) and Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos).
Her portrayer, Nancy Lee Grahn, recently spoke to Soap Opera Digest (SOD) about her feelings surrounding one of Alexis’s biggest foes. More below.
All For The Love
General Hospital spoilers remind fans that there is no love lost between Alexis and her ex, Ric Lansing. The two have been at each other’s throats for decades since their “Rexis” love affair ended, which produced her youngest daughter, Molly.
While Alexis can’t stand Ric, the same cannot be said for how Grahn feels about the actor who portrays him, Rick Hearst. Grahn told SOD, “I just couldn’t love him more. He’s my guy, you know? We just get each other — a lot — and he is so good at what he does.”
Grahn goes on to say, “You know what you want in a partner in real life? That’s what I get with him (Rick) as an actor.”

Grahn also told SOD that she gets a ‘safe place to land’ when doing scenes with Hearst. The actress revealed, “I feel very safe and free and taken care of.”
The actress finds that both she and Hearst approach their craft in very similar ways. Grahn told SOD, “I love to add stuff, to come up with something [in the moment], and he does, too.”
Grahn revealed that this working dynamic is fun, and “The cool thing about acting is when you are in tune with the people you’re working with, and you’re all on the same level. When that happens, it feels like you’re doing what you’re supposed to be doing, and I have that with Rick.”
While their scenes are often filled with turmoil, this strong working relationship shines through whenever Alexis and Ric banter on the screen!
