The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Det Burrow's Love Life Takes A Twist - Discover the Identity That Shocks Fans! The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates reveal that the attractive Detective James Burrow (Matt Cohen) is officially staying in Genoa City, which means he will eventually need a romantic partner. He’s too appealing not to have a love interest.

Which Woman Will Catch Burrow’s Eye?

Which single woman will attract his attention, or who will pursue him because he caught their eye? We have some guesses about who it could be, and it would be a big surprise for a really interesting reason.

James Burrow was introduced to fans of Young and the Restless in October of last year, but he was only seen occasionally at first because Matt Cohen had to undergo ACL surgery.

He needed time to recover. He was in a wheelchair, then on crutches, and eventually could walk, but standing for long periods was difficult. They had to adjust the filming schedule, and we saw much more of Burrow once he recovered and was able to stand for scenes.

Burrow’s Storyline Is Starting To Get Exciting

His storyline is starting to get exciting; he just assisted Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and Devon Winters (Bryton James) in getting their child, Dominic Winters (Ethan Ray Clark), back.

And he’s now officially part of the Genoa City character lineup as the only cop in town. They won’t let Matt Cohen’s attractive face stay single for too long.

That charming face needs another attractive face to kiss. With Burrow now settled into his new job at the GCPD, he has no reason not to search for a date. One potential match for him could be Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).

Burrow Really Impressed Sharon

Burrow made a good impression on Sharon because he was very kind and understanding towards Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) when she was at her lowest after being arrested for kidnapping Dominic.

Even with the serious crime, Burrow showed a lot of sensitivity; Sharon appreciates this and respects Burrow, and they could become friends soon. Additionally, we know that Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) will be returning soon as a threat, and Sharon might need someone to protect her.

Burrow could come to her rescue, and there might be a little chemistry between them. Fans are hoping to see Sharon with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), but it seems that Josh Griffith isn’t interested in that pairing-Sharon and Nick have been stagnant for a long time.

It Went From A Slow Burn For ‘Shick’ To No Burn At All

It shifted from a slow burn for Sharon and Nick to no burn at all-now, Nick is on the verge of becoming addicted to fentanyl; that’s not exactly romantic or appealing. Sharon might be overwhelmed by Mariah’s impending issues, Nick’s descent into drugs, and the return of Matt Clark.

She may turn to Burrow for support, and they could end up as friends and possibly more. He would be a new and exciting option for Sharon, who genuinely needs a love interest since Nick isn’t working out. Sharon isn’t the person hinted at as the big surprise-the same goes for Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).

This Week Cane Tells Phyllis He Wants To Keep Their Affair Going

This week, Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) tells Phyllis he wants to keep the personal side of their relationship going; however, even if she agrees, it’s doubtful they will last long.

Because Cane still has feelings for Lily Winters (Christel Khalil); Lily will be back in Genoa City in a few weeks. Phyllis needs someone who can help steer her towards a better direction in life, and a very attractive detective like Burrow could be just the right fit for that role.

Perhaps Phyllis needs someone who can firmly put a stop to her reckless behavior. Burrow might be the one to finally encourage Phyllis to change her habits; he could bring a refreshing change for Red.

Daniel And Summer Might Be More Forgiving If Phyllis Made Better Choices

Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) and Summer Newman (last played by Allison Lanier) might be more forgiving towards their mom if she started making better choices in life, beginning with dating a good guy. S

peaking of Cane and Lily, when she returns in a few weeks, it’s doubtful she will rush back into Cane’s arms.

She dislikes him so much that she even agreed to pretend that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) kidnapped her. I don’t think Lily will give Cane another chance for a long time, if at all.

Lily might be on the lookout for a new romance to flaunt in Cane’s face, and getting involved with the very attractive Detective James Burrow could be just what she needs.

Lily Would Appreciate A Decent Guy

Lily would appreciate a decent guy like him, who is as different from Cane as possible. Burrow also put his life on the line by going undercover to help take down Matt Clark in the fentanyl operations-he is dedicated to protecting and serving.

Lily hasn’t had the best experiences in relationships; she dated the unfaithful Daniel, the unreliable Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), and now the untrustworthy Cane is trying to win her back.

Lily might be interested in a handsome and principled guy, but once again, Lily is not the only one to consider. Another single woman who could be a good match for the new attractive guy in town is Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).

Audra Is Single And Beautiful

She is single and incredibly attractive, and she also wants a good man in her life. She wishes to have Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) back, but he has moved on with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).

He claims he’s unsure about starting a romance, yet that seems to be the path he’s taking; meanwhile, Audra is still very interested in Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).

However, he is never going to fall for her; he might end up in bed with her again, but he will never fall in love with her. But where Burrows is concerned it’s uncertain, though, considering Audra’s history with the deceased man in LA.

So Here’s Who Burrow Might End Up With-Surprise!

Now let’s discuss the surprising potential pairing for them. The woman that Burrow might end up with, which would be quite unexpected, is Claire Grace Newman (Hayley Erin).

Here’s the reason; we know Kyle still has feelings for Claire, and so does Holden Novak (Nathan Owens). However, Claire has already broken up with Kyle and is set to end things with Holden this week.

But Claire and Burrow would have fantastic chemistry as a couple. The actors portraying them, Hayley Erin and Matt Cohen, shared great chemistry as a couple in another soap.

Hayley Erin And Matt Cohen Were A Couple On General Hospital

They both appeared on ABC’s General Hospital, where they were a beloved couple; on GH, he played Dr. Griffin Munro, a very attractive former priest turned doctor, while she portrayed Kiki Jerome.

Initially, Griffin was in a relationship with Kiki’s mother, but after she turned out to be a villainess, he moved on to Kiki. We witnessed Hayley Erin and Matt Cohen as this on-screen couple, and they were incredible.

Their chemistry was remarkable, but then Hayley Erin’s character Kiki was tragically killed by a terrible serial killer who happened to be dating her mother.
