The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Victor Thinks He’s Won — But Phyllis May Blow Up the Deal

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Victor Thinks He’s Won — But Phyllis May Blow Up the DealThe Young and the Restless spoilers document that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) applied pressure to Cane Ashby’s (Billy Flynn) weak spot.

Telling him that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and the twins were in danger was all it took for Cane to believe he had to surrender.

But all is not yet lost. Cane doesn’t know it but Victor is lying about his family being restrained.

The current head of Newman Enterprises has no way to know that he’s been played at this point in the plot. However, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is imploring her new best friend and seeming business partner not to believe what the Moustache is threatening.

Victor Newman Plays Hardball With Mind Games

Braeden’s character ranks with the most notorious in the history of daytime. Few characters have existed for forty-six years as he has, which alone gives Victor distinction.

Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) recognized Victor’s talent when she recruited him to head her company, Chancellor. That company is still in existence. It’s part of the Newman umbrella of companies, with Cane intending to give it to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) as a peace offering and to secure his allegiance in this revived fight.

But Victor was never going to go away quietly. So, fans are wondering what will happen if Phyllis convinces Cane to seek unquestioned confirmation about his family’s predicament.

Holden Novak Sent On A Mission To California

Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) hasn’t been in the loop since Cane dropped his takeover plan. The shift to employing that ballyhooed artificial intelligence tool wasn’t one that Holden had any details about, and it frustrated him as he told his one-time boss.

But Cane reassured Holden that he’s still part of his business. That was followed by a request to head to Los Angeles, California, to lead the search for Lily and the twins.

Owens’ fears Victor’s reprisal. He’s also considering the bond he’s established with Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) and how that might impact her if her grandfather learns about the mission Cane sent him on.

Phyllis Summers Must Engineer Another Outcome

Phyllis has pumped Cane up when he’s been down in recent months. She had to do that last year after the debacle in the south of France.

Viewers can see what type of relationship she’s developed with Cane. It’s transactional, and he needs to be managed. Her expertise with all things Genoa City, Wisconsin, helps, and he knows it.

So, viewers will soon see whether the combination of Holden’s sleuthing in LA, potentially with Claire at his side, and Phyllis cajoling prevents Victor from retaking control of Newman Enterprises. She needs Cane in charge to make her temporary taste of power permanent.

Victor needs to not underestimate Phyllis because if he does, he won’t be able to rehang that famous portrait of himself in his executive suite anytime soon.
