The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Taylor Shaken by Steffy’s Demand as Sheila Fears Deacon’s Love Is Gone
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) exchanged a kiss and her true feelings with the new man she thinks she loves. Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) believes he has fallen out of love with his wife and wants to tell her, but might get a cleaver plunged into his heart.
The last sentence was a soapy wink at the latest humorous scene in which Brown’s iconic character was. Sheila Carter Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) held a large cleaver and was chopping the heads off fish as she helped Il Giardino’s chef prepare that day’s special.
Deacon saw his head on that chopping block. Steffy also wants Taylor to see their heads and those of their loved ones there.
Steffy Forrester Finnegan’s Feelings Delay The Inevitable
Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is trying to protect her mother and their family from another outburst from Sheila. Wood’s character reiterated how violent Sheila has been in the past, but then went a step further.
Just as she told John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) to cut himself from his birth mother to protect their family or lose her and the children, Steffy is telling Taylor to end her connection with Deacon.
Taylor took her daughter’s threat to heart, with a slight reference intended regarding the broken heart syndrome she had overcome in the recent past. More to the plot point, Taylor will likely relay what Steffy said, and that should cause Deacon to delay telling Sheila that he’s done with their marriage.
Deacon Sharpe Made A Reasoned Decision
Seeking Taylor as his therapist was a bold choice. Sheila was naturally leery of what her husband was doing, but she embraced it after concluding that Taylor had the best interests of their marriage in mind.
Deacon’s split from Sheila late last year led him to spend what proved to be a brief time away from their upgraded second-floor apartment. But he returned, and she believed that Taylor was the decisive voice in making that happen.
Sheila misconstrued what Deacon had been thinking because she injected her hopes into his heart. She’s set herself up for major heartbreak, which could produce something unexpected.
Sheila Carter Sharpe Responds Humanely
The old Sheila, meaning the one who hadn’t changed after marrying Deacon, would fly off the daytime handle, take him and Taylor hostage, or possibly one or more of their children, and then flee Los Angeles, California, for years to come.
Today’s Sheila is vastly different from her before. She’s focused, composed, and restrained. Deacon’s love, which was real, has elevated Sheila.
This storyline arguably ranks with the best Brown has worked in her career on this show or originally, on The Young and the Restless. Sheila’s redemption and conversion to a sincere human being could rise to even greater heights if the writing staff doesn’t have her repeat what happened so many times before.
The aftermath of a broken Sheila trying to recover would be enthralling. Here’s hoping that happens, and if it does, Brown also earns what would be her first Daytime Emmy Award, following nominations on Y&R in 1993 and on B&B in 2022.
Brown deserves a chance to do what could be her best work. The audience, her cast mates, and everyone in the daytime would surely cheer loudly, and this actor’s superb work would finally and rightly be honored.
