And we don’t mean that physically, but metaphorically instead.
That’s because he’s about to regret pushing so hard to have Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) get together again.
Little did Eric realize at the time that two things would end up happening. Both Ridge and Brooke have teamed up to push Eric out the door at Forrester Creations and convince him (and even make him) retire against his own will.
Not only that, but all hell is about to break loose as Ridge and Brooke are going to do whatever they can to stop Eric from becoming successful as the new head designer at Logan.
Sure, they are all family, but if there’s one thing that we’ve learned about life in this fictional town of Los Angeles, it’s that fashion comes before family, regardless of who is in your bloodline.
Sure, it definitely did hurt when Ridge basically pushed his own father out the door. But it’s going to hurt even more when Eric realizes that it’s his son who is trying to completely sabotage him.

Of course, The Bold and the Beautiful fans had a lot to say about where this storyline is possibly going on social media.
Some even commented with, “I feel it’s their karma because they were Bridge’s biggest cheerleaders to get back together.”
Another critic wrote, “Katie was literally acting like a bully to Taylor, rubbing it in her face every chance she got that Ridge wanted Brooke and Eric was very cruel to Taylor.”
