If there’s anything that General Hospital fans have learned about life in this fictional town of Port Charles, it’s that no one is safe on their streets.
Who Should Have Full Custody Of Donna And Avery?
However, it seems like no one is even safe with their own family members, either. That’s why so many people think that Ava and Carly should have full custody of Donny and Avery seeing how Sonny spends more time with the PCPD than with his own children.
We are talking about the same Sonny who shoots an fbi agent, Michael gets burned in a fire meant for him, Charlie’s gets blown up, he kidnaps Marco and beats him but gets 50/50 custody of his kids anyway.
Of course, General Hospital fans certainly did have a lot to say about this possibility.
Some have even commented with, “The reason Kristina is the way she is is because she had Sonny as her father, and I wish Avery and Donna luck because look how well Michael, Morgan, and Kristina turned out having Sonny as a dad.”
Is Sonny Even A Good Father?
Another critic of the show wrote, “Yea Carly is funny.. I don’t understand her sometimes. She makes sense sometimes but other times meh.”
“Avery kept Ava alive because Sonny was going to kill her too. Sonny has murdered so many people. I always wanted Avery to be Morgan’s. It’s too bad they didn’t do that.”
And then there was this comment as well: “I agree that Sonny having custody is ridiculous, but you think Ava who killed Kate, hurt Kiki over and over, put a target on Kiki’s back that got her killed by repeatedly telling someone who wound up being a serial killer that she deserved to suffer.
“He messed with Morgan’s meds and is directly responsible for his death, then knew about Sonny’s meds being messed with and not only didn’t tell him but prevented him from getting help and then messed with the meds herself putting Avery in danger in the process because she was living with Sonny, you think that person deserves custody?”
Now, as far as what happens next remains to be seen. It goes without saying that GH fans will simply have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next.

Ava doesn’t deserve to have custody of Avery. Look how he treated her dead daughter. Avery is no safer with Ava than with Sonny. Although Carly and Sonny share custody of Donna, she lives primarily with Carly already so what’s the problem?
Yeah, all of Sonny’s kids do need or will eventually need major therapy, but you can’t put all that on him. Alexis is a nuerotic mess, Ava is a scheming, manipulative murderer (and I love her) and Carly is, well CARLY. How can any of them be stable? Dante is the most normal, well adjusted one, and so is his mother. Truth be told, most of the kids in PC shouldn’t be in the custody of their own parents! Again, Olivia is about the only stable one and takes great care of Leo. I’m assuming Ace is in good hands with Laura and Kevin, but he (and Kevin) seem to have vanished, with no explanation. Ace will be driving by the time we see him again. I love Jon Lindstrom and think he’s one of the best actors alive, but if he’s not coming back (I know he’s on BTG) they need to recast or kill him off. GH needs a good therapist on staff – for over half the PC residents, so a GOOD recast would be in order.
