General Hospital Spoilers Monday, January 29: Angry Mamas, Romantic Daughters, Guns Drawn
General Hospital spoilers and updates for Monday, January 29 tease angry mamas, romantic daughters, and guns drawn. Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) angry while at GH, Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) romantic in Paris, and Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) got his gun drawn in Toronto.
General Hospital Spoilers: Angry Mamas
Portia is with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) for his physical therapy appointment and she’s angry with the whole Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) situation.
She tells Curtis that she never wants to have to worry about Esme Prince again. She knows that Dante and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) are in Toronto based on good leads to arrest her but she’s still worried about Trina.
Portia was with Laura Collins (Genie Francis) on speakerphone when Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) called her back. She knows Esme and Trina are an ocean apart, but she can’t help but be worried and angry.
GH Spoilers: Romantic Daughters
Meanwhile, in Paris Spencer and Trina are having a romantic dinner, as she asks him for details on something he’s mentioned. Spencer teases her as he says he doesn’t want to spoil the surprise, and it sounds like he’s got something big planned.
Everything is so perfect, they each have their turtledove charms as well-what could possibly go wrong at this point? Later in the week they’ll face a precarious predicament!
General Hospital Spoilers: Laura Collins Worries
Meanwhile, back at the hospital, Laura continues to worry as Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) still hasn’t woken up. She’s at his bedside, and it’s a regular room, not the intensive care unit although he is on oxygen.
She tells Kevin she really needs him to wake up-there’s no telling how long he was unconscious on the floor of the Invader office.
Esme had knocked him out cold in the back of the head with a sculpture and she was long gone by the time Laura, Dante and Chase arrived. Laura’s been told Kevin’s neurological tests didn’t show any brain damage or anything worrisome but she’s impatient for him to wake just the same.
GH Spoilers: Witness Request
Meanwhile, at the Port Charles courthouse, Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) talks to opposing counsel Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) at Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) malpractice trial. He tells her he’d like to add a witness-likely Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) who had found some new evidence.
Of course, Diane will need to see the new evidence since the process of discovery is the same in a civil trial as in a criminal one. Sam found a lot of financial records on Dennis Muldoon (uncast) and the Widow Muldoon (Annie Tedesco) that indicated he’d been seeing an oncologist for months.
General Hospital Spoilers: Tracy Quartermaine Pops In
Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) pops in at the courthouse and makes a spectacle of herself as Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) looks worried!
The new evidence apparently is being testified to by Sam as Tracy stand up and shouts at the judge, “Make the attempt at fraud public record”! Depending on the judge, both Tracy and the evidence could be thrown out of court.
Tracy is not helping Finn’s case by speaking out of order, especially if the wording “fraud” or “attempted fraud” hadn’t even been used. Diane will make a stunning announcement, perhaps regarding Tracy?
GH Spoilers: Distinct Warnings
Back at the hospital, Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) has a distinct warning for someone as she says “oh no you don’t!” Curtis and Portia are still at the hospital and so is Laura, although it’s doubtful she’s addressing Laura with a warning like that.
Curtis and Portia are worried about Trina with Spencer in Paris with Esme on the loose, although Portia may be more worried than Curtis about Spencer!
He witnessed firsthand Spencer’s protectiveness on the Haunted Star during the Greenland rescue. Are they thinking of going to Paris-Curtis has just started his physical therapy, he’s not in good medical shape for a trip like that!
General Hospital Spoilers: Guns Drawn
Dante has his gun drawn at the door of Maggie Fitzgerald’s (Heather Olt) apartment in Toronto, as he tells Chase this could be trouble.
The Canadian law enforcement officer had told them he hadn’t seen anyone leave or enter the apartment in twenty four hours since he’d been standing guard. He’d just knocked on the door and advised police were there and they don’t know what to expect.
Esme could come out with guns blazing, or they could break in and find Maggie dead. Or, Maggie may not have any information for them like when Dante spoke to her in Ireland-the bus ticket may have been a ruse!
