General Hospital spoilers and updates for the week of Monday, September 5-Friday, September 8 tease, everyone wants to know who’s the pig that squealed on Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard)?
Sonny and his men were arrested by the FBI in two separate raids, one at the docks and the other at the Metro Court where Sonny was dining with his daughter.
General Hospital Spoilers: Michael Corinthos Has Bad News
In the aftermath of Sonny’s arrest, which Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) along with others witnessed, he brings his mother some bad news.
He tells an obviously worried Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) “Mom, there’s something I have to tell you”.
Carly looks like she can anticipate what has happened, having received a tip from a Kelly’s customer the night of the raids, when she attempted to reach Sonny and warn him.
Carly wasn’t able to reach Sonny but she did reach Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) down at the docks. Michael then will go on to say that Sonny was arrested by the FBI.
GH Spoilers: Josslyn Jacks Interrogated
Michael, his mom, Dex and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) are all perplexed over Sonny’s arrest, but Josslyn had been out all night partying and drinking.
She’d been upset because of Dex’s job for Sonny at the docks, where the raid happened that Carly had warned him about, cancelled a concert date.
Carly had encouraged her to use the extra ticket and take someone else but Josslyn was in full pout by that time.
Dex arrives first at the Spencer house and then Josslyn, where he tells her someone turned Sonny in-Carly asks her “was it you”?
General Hospital Spoilers: Another Suspect
Dante Falconeri, (Dominic Zamprogna) who now knows Sonny was arrested by the FBI storms into Michael’s office at Aurora Media. He demands of Michael, “Did you turn our father into the feds”? It’s natural for Dante to suspect Michael, given he had spent nearly two years plotting to take Sonny down and doing exactly that.
Either Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) or Dante’s mother, Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero) could have called Dante, having both seen the arrest. Kristina had been having dinner with their father and Michael, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) had joined them when the areest took place.
GH Spoilers: Alexis Davis Gives A Warning
Elsewhere, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) gives a warning to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) who also witnessed Sonny’s arrest as well as Alexis’ daughter Kristina.
She tells her that because of Sonny’s arrest, Nina is vulnerable as well as his family, followed by a scene of a scared Kristina at the Metro Court.
As Carly had previously warned Josslyn when she complained Sonny needed to be in prison, when a mob boss is taken down his rivals come for his territory.
That means his family and friends could all be targets of the rivals.
General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Corinthos In The Hot Seat
At the FBI offices where Sonny is being interrogated by two FBI agents, (unnamed actors/characters) the younger one hisses at the older one, “He’s not getting away this time!”
The older one appears to be the superior of the younger one as he stands and observes through a window in the interrogation room the younger one interrogating Sonny.
Sonny, in the meanwhile, remains stonefaced and silent as the agent continues questioning him.
This isn’t Sonny’s first rodeo with interrogations by law enforcement. He knows better than to answer questions without legal counsel present.
