General Hospital Star Nicholas Chavez Is Headed To Netflix
General Hospital news says that Nicholas Chavez is moving on up! The actor, who is best known for his role as Spencer Cassadine on the hit ABC soap, has just landed a role on Netflix’s Monster Season 2. He is starring in the new Ryan Murphy anthology series about the Menedez brothers and will be co-starring alongside actor Cooper Koch. Here’s what you need to know.
General Hospital Star Nicholas Chavez Is Headed To Netflix – Is He Leaving Port Charles?
According to Deadline, Cooper will play Erik and Nicholas will play Lyle in Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story. As many fans probably already know, the brothers were convicted for the 1996 murders of their parents. During the trial, the brothers stated that they lived in constant fear that their father would have killed them if they were to ever expose all of the trauma, sexual, emotional and physical abuse they endured at the hands of their parents. The case became a national sensation when they went on trial back in 1993.
So, does this mean that Nicholas is leaving the daytime television world? Maybe, maybe not. Of course, many General Hospital fans sure had a lot to say about the news on Twitter. Some have commented with, “I doubt he is leaving GH as Spencer. Many GH stars act concurrently in other projects-James Patrick Stuart in Villains of Valley View, Kathleen Gati and Jon Lindstrom in a lot of shows. Jackie Zeman was playing Bobbie on GH and a character on The Bay at the same time,” along with, “He’s going to leave isn’t he? I mean maybe not, some people do both but either way NAC is a star and he has tremendous talent it would be selfish of us to hoard him instead of letting him see how far he can go.”
General Hospital News: What’s Next For Nicholas And His Career?
Another fan wrote, “Well I guess he’s on his way and won’t need soaps anymore. I can’t imagine anyone replacing him. We hope we get to see more of #sprina love story before he leaves. I’m happy for him but I hope he doesn’t leave General Hospital.”
