General Hospital Spoilers: Nina Has Learned Nothing From Nixon Falls and Mike as She Sinks Her Teeth Into Eddie Maine

General Hospital spoilers tease Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has been panicking ever since Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) invited Eddie Maine (Wally Kurth) to stay at his penthouse. Cohabitating with the man who holds all of the secrets that could unravel her entire life is not what Nina had planned. Clearly, she has no way out of this, so she’s going to invest herself in it even more.

This is Nina we’re talking about; what else would she do? It appears that Nina has learned nothing from her experience with Mike back in Nixon Falls. She’s about to hatch a plan to manipulate Eddie in the same exact way, hoping that she can keep his brain waves operating as Eddie — permanently. It’s certain that Ava Jerome (Maura West) is going to think this is a terrible idea, but she will continue to support her illogical friend. Can you see any way this doesn’t blow up in Nina’s face?

Sonny and Ned are hardly what anyone would call friends. But Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) means the world to Sonny and if she needs help, he’s going to be there. But a short-term plan has migrated into a rather long term one, and it’s twisting Nina up in knots. She’ll have to think quickly on her feet if she wants to pull off being able to break bread with Eddie every day while pretending she knows nothing about his situation and how he got that way.

If Nina is going to be forced to share living space with Eddie, the least she can do is try to remind him of who she is, right? That’s what Olivia, Brooke Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), and everyone else will imply. But Nina is going to get a different idea in mind. All of this concern from the Q’s will remind Nina that she has the upper hand by having access to Eddie around the clock. His family doesn’t have that, since he’s rejecting them. Rather, buttering him up and pretending to be his new best friend is going to get Nina farther with her own plot to make sure Ned stays away forever.

General Hospital Spoilers — It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Nixon Falls

As Nina digs the hole deeper and conspires to influence Eddie’s mind and make him think Ned’s memories are gone forever, the whole vibe will feel very Nixon Falls. Hey, maybe she’ll even check in with Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) while she’s at it. Regardless, Nina will still battle some serious anxiety – aware that she’s committing the very same mistake all over again. She’s putting the Quartermaine family through the same thing she put the Corinthos family through two years ago.
