General Hospital Spoilers: Hudson Saves Josslyn – Or Is He Secretly Protecting Jude?

General Hospital spoilers imply that Hudson Parker (Troy Lennon Appel) will rescue Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) from Jude Jacks (Wil Traval) after a heated confrontation erupts at the Brown Dog Bar. The soap just released its weekly preview, and there’s an interesting clip that needs to be talked about, so let’s get into it.

Key Takeaways

• Jude and Josslyn have a heated confrontation at the Brown Dog Bar
• Hudson steps between Jude and Josslyn before things escalate
• Hudson and Jude may secretly be working together
• Phoebe’s custody and control of JJE could be part of their plan
• Britt may be in for a shock when she learns Jude’s true identity

Brown Dog Bar Brawl

General Hospital spoilers hint that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will run into Jude at the bar earlier in the week, and it looks like the two will get their flirt on. Still, Britt may want to hold off on any commitment, considering that same night, Hudson and Joss will frequent the same establishment and hash out some “family” business.

As previously reported, Britt and Jude’s steamy romance has already raised questions about the mysterious newcomer.

Josslyn knows that Jude is no good; after all, her father, Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher), warned her to stay away from her cousin. Still, now that Jude is in Port Charles, staying away from each other might be nearly impossible.

The General Hospital weekly promo shows Jude appearing to lunge at Josslyn. The blonde may have said something he didn’t agree with, but Hudson will step in front of Joss before Jude can do anything else.

Who Is Hudson Parker Protecting?

At first glance, it may appear as if Hudson is trying to protect Josslyn from Jude’s wrath, but is it the other way around?

There is speculation that Jude and Hudson are working together. If they are, the last thing Hudson would want is for Jude to be hauled into the police station for assaulting Josslyn.

Whether the duo is working together to get Phoebe Chase (Lucia and Luna Creighton) back or take over JJE (or both), they need to avoid any trouble with officials. Hitting a woman would cause major problems for them and their plan.

Stepping in front of Josslyn will also provide good optics. Hudson and Jude may be keeping their partnership a secret, so Hudson will show his “protective” side and loyalty to his boss.

As questions about Hudson’s true identity and his possible connection to Jude continue to grow, his actions at the Brown Dog could take on a whole new meaning.

Either way, we should also talk about Britt. How will she react when she finds out the man she did the deed with (four times) is Jerry Jacks’ (Sebastian Roché) son? Only time will tell.

Editor’s Take

I’m not convinced Hudson is protecting Josslyn out of the goodness of his heart! If he’s secretly working with Jude, stepping in could be the perfect way to keep Josslyn’s trust while protecting their plans. Something about this whole situation just doesn’t add up!
