The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Steffy & Carter Panic – Daphne’s Baby Request Gives Them The Perfect Cover?

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Steffy Forrester Finnegan’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) perception of being pregnant goes along with the rapid nature of this half-hour steamer.

The writing staff appears to be pushing the plot pedal to the floor and rushing into a paternity mystery.

It’s an easy leap to see Steffy taking her best friend’s, Daphne Walton (Murielle Hilaire), quick acceptance of surrogacy and using it to cover for the baby she’s conceived with Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor).

However, it’s still too soon to tell if that’s what’s happening.

Meanwhile, John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) continues to apologize for issues that he was berated about regarding his incessantly pesky birth mother, Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown).

He’s certain that the unease Steffy was feeling was a result of him supposedly being a bad husband, which he’s not.

Sheila Carter Used Creative Morality

Sheila needs a way into Finn’s life. She hasn’t been able to achieve that through rescuing Steffy’s daughter from drowning in the recent past or graciously allowing her mother,

Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig), to take Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan).

The incident in Monaco was partially Sheila’s fault. It might seem overly generous to say that Brown’s character wasn’t fully to blame for what happened, but Finn offered repeated words of encouragement in recent months.

As viewers recall, he also went to bat on Sheila’s behalf with Steffy, arguing that it would be better to appease her desire to have supervised monthly visits than to cut her off.

But Steffy was insistent that wasn’t going to happen, which then forced Sheila to fall back on her creative morality.

Carter Walton Shouldn’t Have Been Drinking

Imagine a scenario where Carter was depressed that Daphne seemingly ended their marriage and left for France but didn’t drink liquor.

However, he did so in the executive suite along with Steffy, who was obviously inebriated when she happened upon him at Forrester Creations.

Finn was still in Monaco. So, there was no logical reason why Steffy’s first choice of a home landing spot would be FC. Wouldn’t she have reached out to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) instead, as was the case during so many past occasions?

Yet, soap fans know that they have to accept certain fantastical, yet somewhat plausible scenarios to advance a storyline.

The ill-fated connection between Steffy and Carter happened only because of the created circumstances.

Steffy Forrester Finnegan Becomes A Selfless Surrogate

Doubling down is a cliched term, but let’s use it for effect. Steffy and Carter may gain the option of doubling down on their secret if Daphne pushes having Wood’s character provide her eggs and be the surrogate mother.

That choice will come across as selfless and also stretch back to Steffy having accompanied Daphne to the hospital this summer.

Devoted fans know that the ladies met with Finn’s adoptive mother, another coincidence, because Daphne’s doctor was unable to make the appointment.

Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) provided the sad diagnosis, premature menopause, and Steffy was there to help console Daphne.

Now, a short period later that can be counted in weeks, Carter is heartened that his wife has rebounded.

He and Steffy appear to be on the verge of receiving a gift request, which could ease their panicked state.

Daphne wants her best friend to be involved in helping bring Carter’s child into the world, and Finn supports that effort completely.

But is Steffy already pregnant, and if so, how will she use creative morality to cover it?
