Young and the Restless Spoilers: Nick & Marie’s Rehab Romance Heats Up – Sharon Gets Pushed Aside?
The Young and the Restless spoilers show Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Marie (Jade Harlow) actually look like they might be building something together.
Marie is grateful now that Nick saved her life, and he’s been finding some kind of peace in helping her heal.
It’s the kind of relationship that the show might build up and potentially make Marie a staple of the show for a time to come.
Two People Healing Together?
There is something interesting about how these two met at their absolute worst but are helping build each other up to a better place.
Marie owes her life to Nick, and that gratitude could just as easily turn into something deeper as they lean on each other for support.
Unfortunately, there is an uncomfortable question about the two becoming so close.
Are they just finding comfort in each other now because they have nowhere else to turn? And if they do form some kind of relationship, is there a possibility of them relapsing together in the future?
Marie’s Estranged Husband
Let’s not forget that Marie has an estranged husband out there. Someone who could easily pop into Genoa City and stir the pot.
While he filed for divorce, he may come back and try to win Marie back, especially now that she’s getting help. That could put quite a damper on anything between her and Nick.
Of course, this is a soap, so he may return to Genoa City with a vengeance, wanting something out of the divorce that Marie is keeping from him.
Either way, it’s an unneeded stress that could wander into both their lives and make their path to recovery even harder.
Meanwhile, we still have Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) watching from the sidelines. She was the first person Nick called and is still someone who cares very much for him.
If Nick commits something to Marie, there’s a chance that Sharon will be left on the outside looking in. Not that she’s actively looking for a relationship with Nick right now, but it could definitely set something up hurdles for the future.
