Eric Forrester (John McCook) was angry at Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) for forcing him out of Forrester Creations.
His adopted son and Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) were convinced Eric would be receptive to their retirement party, but it proved unwanted.
That development led Eric to seek Katie out and accept Bill’s offer to work for Logan. McCook’s creative feelings shifted, and he had seller’s remorse.
Eric Forrester Pursued Logan
Eric is one of the world’s greatest fashion designers in the version of Earth. His legendary fashion house was created from scratch with the help of his then-wife and deepest love of his life, Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery).

Brooke’s reaction to and her assessment of Katie were very revealing. She still sees Katie as a little girl, believing that Tom’s character responds to her.
That outlook is condescending and also, in this instance, foolish. Katie is an accomplished professional who developed her talent and became a strong public relations force.
Yet, Brooke is unable to accept that Katie is capable of tapping her talent and leading a fashion house. That myopic stance rightfully hurt her younger sister and is serving as motivation to rival FC in ways that weren’t originally part of Katie’s plan.
Bill Spencer Offers Financial Backing And Emotional Support
Bill was serious about becoming a better man so he could eventually remarry Katie. She recognized that the first goal was reached while they and their son, Will Spencer (Crew Morrow), endured the Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) saga.
Katie didn’t anticipate Bill’s wedding gift. Providing the idea and full financial backing provided a glide path for Logan.
This remarriage was supercharged because of the attack Brooke and Ridge made against them. Katie and Bill’s tie is stronger than ever, and their fashion business is succeeding far sooner than they ever expected as a result.
