The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Katie Is A Logan – Brooke’s Demand Has No Legal Standing
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Katie Logan (Heather Tom) has as much right as her older sister, Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang), to their paternal name as does Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis). But, as fans will see, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) will determine that Forrester Creations no longer has the trademark for that specific brand name.
Spencer Fashion seemed doable. But in keeping with Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) faith in his renewed wife and in wanting her to forge a path all her own, Katie chose a name for her burgeoning fashion house that stunned Brooke, Donna, and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).
Logan, with the letters o and g intertwined, is Katie’s conception. After the rebuke by Brooke, it’s also Katie’s firm choice.
Forrester Creations Dropped The Ball
Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) is FC’s top legal counsel, and he’s on the company’s Board of Directors. The department he heads oversees matters including trademarks, brand names, and the like.
So, it’s fortuitous when Liam discovers that the company Brooke has long worked for and represented, as an executive, spokeswoman, and model, allowed its legal hold on the Logan name to expire.
Pouncing on opportunity is something Bill does best, and so it appears that Logan will be the name Katie uses for the fashion house she heads.
Brooke wouldn’t have known that the legal issue existed. Katie didn’t consider it either because Brooke only used a portion of their last name as part of business efforts. None of that matters because the name Logan is legally Katie’s now.
Bill Spencer Stands By His Wife
Bill believed that Katie was underutilized at FC. His wedding gift addressed that inequity big time.
Katie was stunned by the breadth of Bill’s generosity and forethought. She had no idea that he was planning such a massive undertaking, which meant her leaving FC.
However, Katie’s role as the head of public relations was in doubt. Anyone would have been offended when Ridge and Brooke allowed the outside agency they hired to handle the Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) fallout to stay on. Why was that necessary when Katie was there?
Well, now she’s not, and it’s game on.
Brooke Logan’s Attitude Unexpectedly Revealed
What does Brooke consider support?
She anticipated Katie would create a business that would become a niche in the industry. The attitude was condescending, and it reinforced exactly what Bill recognized and has been telling Katie. He thinks she’s been unappreciated at FC for years.
Bill’s belief in his wife is good. Katie’s intention of giving this effort her all is great. But the coming battle with the Forrester’s legacy fashion house will be monumental. No one underestimates Katie now, and her company name, Logan, should make that quite clear.

Bill should believe in his wife. Brooke or using the name Logan for her company shouldn’t be her top priority. Building a design team that can create fashion that will pose a threat to FC should be her main focal point. The company’s name won’t make the company a success, the product will. There are so many other names she can come up with that has no ties FC or create tension between her sister. I suggested on another post – Katie’s Logan-Spencer Fashion Designs. There’s also; Katie’s ‘L” ( L for Logan), Katie’s House of Elegance, Katie’s Couture or just Katie’s. Something that will have no ties to FC or causing friction with her sister. If she wants a fresh start forget about the name whether she’s entitled to use it or not because that will not change her maiden last name. Getting married doesn’t do that – it’s a personal choice.
