The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Sheila’s Wedding Move Sends Shockwaves, Ignores Beth Banning
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Sheila Carter Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) believed that being on her husband’s arm at his daughter’s remarriage would show the world a united family front.
Beth Spencer (Jordyn Lynn Ariza) had other ideas, telling her parents to exclude Sheila from the ceremony.
The soapy nature of having a child officiate a wedding can’t be understated. However, various people in this version of Los Angeles, California, are familiar with so-called parents who endorse their children’s undeveloped desires to have adult power.
Sheila, of all people, is the adult in the room where the wedding guest list is concerned. In daytime reality, what happened is clear. Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) didn’t want Sheila at her wedding and used Beth’s surprise guest denial request to make it happen.
Liam Spencer Goes Along With The Flow
Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) has beaten himself up since walking away from his third marriage to Hope. Two prior nuptials were arguably dissolved because of Liam’s incessant desire to bounce between the women who’ve loved him more than any others.
However, it’s reasonable to assert that Hope caused Liam to make a decision. He refused to accept Hope’s decision to allow Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) to be part of her life again. Then, she went beyond that and initiated a transactional relationship with him.
But the above is long passed in real-time and soap-time. Liam’s assumed cancer scare and shooting created a hard reset of priorities, which led to Hope also realizing that their family structure needed to be restored.
Hope Spencer For The Fourth Time
It’s not as goofy or wonderful, based upon one’s perception. So, let’s start with the snark.
One could claim that Hope and Liam are childish, which is why they’ve been divorced three times and are remarrying for a fourth.
That perspective could be supported by also saying that agreeing to have their elementary school daughter serve as a wedding officiant is absurd on multiple levels.
Putting the Beth elevation issue aside for another soapy day, let’s focus on the remarriage. Liam is Hope’s greatest love. So, remarrying him can only be chided by those LA residents who appoint themselves experts on other people’s lives.
For his part, Liam is sincere about re-coupling with Hope. He can’t go back to Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) because she won’t have him. So, Liam is serious about wanting this fourth marriage.
When Sheila Carter Sharpe Goes Bad
Daytime isn’t all about love and sweetness. It would be repetitive if that were so.
Sheila has been affected by her love for Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan). Believing her marriage to him was jeopardized caused her to verbally claim Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) would die if she made a play for Kanan’s character.
While Taylor hasn’t done that, she also hasn’t discounted the potential for that to happen. Meanwhile, she’s recently unsettled nature is naturally riled by being blocked from Hope and Liam’s wedding ceremony.
Not accepting the wedding invitation rejection makes sense in light of recent events. So, classic Sheila returns.
