Prince Harry’s career path upon leaving the Royal Family was a topic of discussion on a new Channel 5 documentary.
Whilst the Prince drifts around, more or less jobless, or so Channel 5 conjectures, experts believe he may learn a lot if he observed the career path taken by the former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
Prince Harry Might Be Able To Cash In If He Followed This Boris Johnson Trail
Due to his training as a member of the Royal Family, Prince Harry is an eloquent speaker, and even prior to his exit from the Royal Family, he’d already earned a million dollars by speaking at a JP Morgan event in Miami, Florida in 2020. So his public speaking portfolio is solid, and he’s continued to use his voice to speak at various prestigious events.
Undoubtedly, Channel 5 explored this aspect of his talent in the new documentary, ‘The Jobless Prince,’ which investigated his money making ventures.
“Harry’s unique CV and Royal connections put him in an elite club of speakers,” a voiceover said.
Elsewhere in the documentary, public-relations expert Susie Walker said: “It’s a really natural path, it would appear that Prince Harry has registered with the Harry Walker Agency that represent really high profile public figures at public speaking events. It ranges from anything like £30/£40k to millions if you’re a President or megastar.”
The documentary then goes on to draw comparisons between the Duke of Sussex and the former British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson.
A narrator added: “Former Prime Minister Boris Johnson could give Harry something to aspire to. Shortly after leaving office, Boris earned over £1 million from just four speaking engagements.”
After stepping back as working members of the Royal Family, Harry inked a deal with the Harry Walker Agency for speaking engagements. Together with his wife Meghan, the agency boasts the most incredible speakers, including the Obamas.
At the start, it was speculated that their speaking fee could be around the million dollar mark. However, further evaluations pinpointed a range of “$250k to $400k.”
Some of Harry’s speaking points have included his childhood trauma over the tragic death of his mother, Princess Diana, his environmental activism, his military career, and his stance against AI and misinformation.
