General Hospital Spoilers: Maxie’s Tragedy Shatters Lucas – He Falls Into Despair

General Hospital spoilers tease that Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) suffered a crisis of faith after his half-sister Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) died after she insisted that Lucas perform the surgery to remove a portion of her liver so that it could be donated to Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havans).

Although it later turned out that Sam was murdered after surgery by Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), Lucas was still quite shaken. And now it seems as though history might repeat itself.

Maxie Jones collapsed on-air at Home & Heart

After applying tainted facial cream, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) suddenly collapsed on the set of Home & Heart. Maxie exhibited all the signs of a heart attack. She was quickly taken to General Hospital where Lucas, her cousin, began to try to revive.

Things were touch and go, but Maxie ultimately survived. But it seems as though Maxie’s heart will either stop again or she will fall into a coma. Once again. Lucas will surely blame himself.

Lucas Jones will certainly blame himself

Given what happened to Sam last year, Maxie’s fate will surely weigh heavily on Lucas. He will certainly have plenty of support from his friends and family.

But his greatest source of comfort will likely be his newfound love, Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo). Lucas and Marco haven’t been together that long, but they’ve already been through a lot together.

Lucas and Marco have unfortunately been caught up in the war between Sonny Corithos (Maurice Bernard), who was once married to Lucas’ sister and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), Marco’s father.

Jenz Sidwell most likely poisoned Maxie Jones

Lucas and Marco have agreed not to let their family ties get in the way of their relationship. But all that may change if Marco discovers that his father had something to do with Maxie’s poisoning, especially if he tries to keep that information from Lucas.

If really did poison Maxie, then the romance between Lucas and Marco may not survive it, depending on what Maxie’s long-term fate really is.
