The CBS soap has released a new preview video featuring Luna buying a gun, her intentions pretty clear given her previous conversation with her grandmother.
It’s evident that Steffy is Luna’s intended target, but there’s a chance that someone might perform a heroic rescue to stop Luna before it’s too late.
Could Liam be the one to save Steffy, even if it costs him his life-considering the timing, we might be heading towards an intense clash of narratives.
While Liam is unlikely to survive his brain tumor, viewers don’t really want to see him endure a painful demise. It would be much more fulfilling to witness Liam exit in a spectacular fashion as he steps up for Steffy in a significant way.
John “Finn” Finnegan Took A Bullet For Steffy, But It Was Eventually Discovered He’d Survived
John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) took a bullet for Steffy when he stepped in front of Sheila Sharpe’s (Kimberlin Brown) gun, but eventually it was discovered he’d survived.
Perhaps it will be Liam’s turn to sacrifice himself for his ex; this could occur if Liam finds himself in a situation where he sees an armed Luna poised to pull the trigger.
Liam might leap in front of Steffy, inadvertently becoming Luna’s next victim, but he’d go out a hero. Liam is already facing death, but Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) will be furious if Luna harms his son – particularly since he remains unaware of Liam’s terminal diagnosis.
Given that Bill is the one who facilitated Luna’s pardon, he will experience a whirlwind of emotions when Luna spirals out of control once more.

Bill might be consumed by anger and remorse for ever believing that Luna could change; he could very well take the law into his own hands and kill her.
Meanwhile, Steffy may find herself forever thankful for Liam’s ultimate sacrifice. Liam’s final act for Steffy could be ensuring her survival so she can be there for Finn, Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay), and Hayes Forrester Finnegan (Alexander and Chase Banks).
There would definitely be an APB for Luna, should she escape after her attempted murder of Steffy.
