General Hospital Spoilers: Lois’s Payback – Shatters Reunion Potential Between Lulu & Dante

General Hospital (GH) spoilers imply that Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) isn’t a vengeful person, but when it comes to her family, she can become a momma bear, or grand-momma bear in this case.

Lulu Spencer’s (Alexis Havins Bruening) relentlessly digging to get to the bottom of Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) long lost son ended in the whole town watching poor Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) have a meltdown as he tried to process the idea that his entire life was a lie.

The closing of the Thursday, May 22 episode was flawlessly done, and actor Giovanni Mazza’s performance was a chef’s kiss on all accounts.

After months of speculation and weeks of wondering if and when the truth would come out regarding the violinist’s parental units, it was exposed in a blaze of glory right on the Nurses Ball stage, for all to see.

Fans could sense that Gio would be the one to hear the truth when he went searching for Lois backstage.

Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) directed him toward a dressing room, and as he approached it, he overheard a very loud Lulu exclaim that about his entire life had been a lie, and that his real parents were Dante and Brook Lynn Quartermaine-Chase (Amanda Setton), not Francis and Camila Palmieri, who were his adopted parents.

Gio was rocked by the news, which led him to hop on stage for his next performance and announce that he was dedicating this next song to his parents, Brook Lynn and Dante, who never wanted him and placed him up for adoption. He then proceeded to smash his violin, much to the shock of everyone in the audience.

Dante looked very confused as he stared down at Brook Lynn, who was in tears. Dante will have plenty of questions, and while he will be upset that he was never brought into the loop about this, he will undeniably be heartbroken about how his long-lost son found this all out before he did.

This is where Lois may interject. After all, was the Nurses Ball really the best place for Lulu to bring up what she found out? Could it not have waited until another day, or at least a venue that was a little more private? Lois will have no issue throwing Lulu under the bus, and Brook Lynn may point out that Lulu’s known about her teenage pregnancy with Dante for a while now and had been warned to stay out of it.

While Dante will feel betrayed by Brook Lynn and Lois, he’ll also be disappointed in Lulu’s actions. Lulu treated the Gio news as fun gossip that she wanted to expose, instead of a heartbreaking story about a child who grew up around his biological parents, without knowing they were his biological parents.

Not to mention the fact that Lulu went to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), her mom, Laura Collins (Genie Francis), and Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) before going to Dante with the news.

General Hospital spoilers hint that while Dante and Lulu were gravitating toward a reunion, any idea of romance will be shattered once he finds out the truth about his ex-wife’s role in this entire mess, and Lois will gladly be the one to offer up this information in an act of payback.
