As many of our readers know, Drew has become a “sleazeball” of a politician. In fact, things have gotten so bad and so shady with him that a lot of fans of the show just want to see him killed off already.

But even with that said, there’s heavy speculation suggesting that General Hospital Executive Producer and Head Writer Frank Valentini might have purposely made the character as unbearable as he is just because he wants to prove a point about what is going on in Washington, D.C. right now.

But then again, writing about corrupt politicians is nothing new, right? However, it seems like Drew has taken things to another level because he has truly become unbearable to watch with his nastiness. 

It goes without saying that many General Hospital fans certainly do have a lot to say about this storyline on social media.

Some have evne commented with, “I get enough corrupt and sleazy politicians bombarding my newsfeed IRL, I don’t need or want to see it on my soap opera! Please make Drew go away and take this other sleazy councilman with him!”

General Hospital Spoilers: What’s Next For Drew?

Another fan wrote, “If it wasn’t for the current political opera we have to view every day it wouldn’t be as bad….It’s exhausting. Bring back Casey the Alien!”

And then there was this comment as well: “I think the writers and Frank are making some kind of political statement about the current climate. Hopefully someone murders Drew soon.”

So far Frank Valentini himself has not made any comments about the matter just yet.
