General Hospital spoilers say that while it looks highly unlikely that Chad Duell will return to Port Charles to reprise his role as Michael Corinthos anytime soon, a lot of people can’t help but wonder who is going to fill in his shoes.
General Hospital Speculation: Robert Adamson As The New Michael Corinthos
As many GH fans can remember, Robert did play Michael on a temporary basis a few times several years ago.
That’s why a lot of people think that it would be a good idea. They also think that Robert should come back and be given a contract as the new Michael Corinthos as he would be more than just a perfect fit.
Of course, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter. Some even commented with, “Robert Adamson flawlessly stepped in for Chad Duell as Michael.. Other actor’s versions of Michael mentioned were wonderful at replacing the Michael of that time. I really hope if Chad isn’t interested in returning that the position is offered to Robert Adamson.”
Another critic wrote, “I wasn’t a fan of Robert Adamson honestly and casting a Michael who looks like Sonny was ridiculous to me. Do the casting directors forget he’s adopted or something?”
And then there was this comment as well: “I wasn’t a fan of Robert Adamson as Noah Newman at all. When he first substituted for Chad, I rolled my eyes hard. Then I realized that he was rather good at playing Michael.”
General Hospital Speculation: What’s Next In Port Charles?
“To your point, I never even thought of that. I agree , he definitely does favor Sonny. IMO, I don’t think the writer’s or casting directors even bother with important things like character continuity. I’m curious, who would you cast as Michael.”
