General Hospital Spoilers: Chances, Confrontations, Caught In A Trap!
General Hospital spoilers and updates for Tuesday, February 25 tease chances, confrontations, and caught in a trap! Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) takes a chance, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) confronts someone, and Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) caught in a trap!
Ew-Drew Warns Nina
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is at Drew Quartermaine’s (Cameron Mathison) home, and he finds her presence quite bothersome. He warns her that she needs to align with him, or she risks losing Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen).
It seems Nina is pushing back against Drew’s attempts to persuade Willow and her children with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) to move in with him.
Drew’s remarks come off as a veiled threat—what does he think he can do to make Nina lose her daughter? He might consider revealing that he and Nina had a fling, but that would likely blow up in his face!
Chances
In the meantime, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) meets with Kai after he reached out to her. She remarks, “Do you see what happens when you take a chance?”
Earlier, Trina confided in Ava Jerome (Maura West) that she believed her relationship with Kai was strictly platonic, but Ava sensed a spark between them.
It seems that Trina’s advice might resonate with her own situation as much as it does with Kai’s. Both Trina and Kai appear to be exploring the possibilities that come with taking a leap of faith!
Jordan And Portia Catch Up
Elsewhere, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) are having a heart-to-heart. Jordan confides in Portia about her struggles to trust the news lately.
The idea of Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) playing the role of the “angel of mercy” seems plausible, and there might even be a Crimestoppers segment airing soon.
However, the fact that Jason is the prime suspect in Cyrus’ disappearance may be something that Jordan finds hard to accept, while Portia might see it differently.
It’s worth noting that when Jason returned to town, he was reluctantly involved with the FBI due to being blackmailed by John “Jagger” Cates (Adam J. Harrington). This past connection could certainly influence Portia’s opinion.
Family Meetings
In another part of town, Selina Wu (Lydia Look) is having a heart-to-heart with her nephew, Brad Cooper (Parry Shen). He seems quite anxious about a debt he has hanging over him and turns to Aunt Selina for support.
She comforts him, suggesting that somehow, his debt will be settled—could it be related to gambling? It’s been some time since Selina and Brad were involved in that high-stakes poker game in the Savoy’s basement, and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) made it clear he didn’t want it back.
Nowadays, Brad is far more focused on securing his position at GH than getting entangled in his aunt’s shady dealings.
Confrontations
Carly finds herself in a tense exchange with Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna), who appears taken aback when she asserts, “if this is a frame, it has to stop!”
The news has clearly spread throughout Port Charles that Jason is the prime suspect in Cyrus’ disappearance and presumed murder. Jason is still under questioning at the PCPD, this information shouldn’t even be public, let alone making headlines!
While Carly and Brennan might be trying to navigate their developing relationship, it seems they’re already heading toward a significant clash. This doesn’t spell good news for their ‘Jackly’ romance!
Caught In A Trap
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) continues to interrogate Jason at the PCPD, and it appears she’s already convinced of his guilt before he’s had a fair chance to prove his innocence.
Jason is visibly frustrated, insisting he was never at Cyrus’ cabin and claims he can back that up. However, the forensic team has discovered two hairs that match his.
It certainly seems like a setup, yet Anna, of all people, shouldn’t jump to conclusions about the hairs being his. After all, how many times has she been confused for her deceased twin, Alex Devane (Finola Hughes)?
Just because Jason and Drew no longer share a resemblance doesn’t mean their DNA wouldn’t align—or could it be that Brennan is deliberately framing Jason?
Be sure to catch up on everything happening with GH right now. Come back here often for General Hospital spoilers, news, and updates.
We know Joss did it, but Jason and Drew were vorn identical twins. The DNA is disputible
