General Hospital Spoilers: Secrets Told, Secrets Kept, Brother Bargains
General Hospital spoilers and updates for Friday, February 21 tease secrets told, secrets kept, and brother bargains. Brook Lynn Chase (Amanda Setton) explains the secrets she told, Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) wants to keep secrets, and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) attempts a brother bargain.
Secrets Told, Brook Lynn Explains
In the comfort of their home, Brook Lynn opens up about a long-buried secret she had kept from Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) while trying to console him regarding his sterility.
Chase appears stunned as he processes her revelation, exclaiming, “You were pregnant as a teenager, and you’ve held onto this secret all this time.”
Brook Lynn’s eyes well up with tears, revealing her fear that he might resent her for hiding such a significant truth, especially one as impactful as this.
Will she muster the courage to share everything with Chase, including the fact that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is the baby’s father? Or will she continue to refer to him simply as “a boy I got involved with at camp years ago”?
Secret Keeping And Cover-Up?
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) found herself in a dire situation when she shot Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) with Dex Heller’s (Evan Hofer) gun, in self-defense as he threatened her with an axe.
However, the path to proving her innocence is complicated, especially since she had broken into his cabin and rifled through his belongings before uncovering the evidence that could seal his fate.
To make matters worse, she didn’t wear gloves, leaving her fingerprints all over the place, including on the hospital bracelets he had kept as twisted trophies.
Cyrus’ chilling final words, “now you’re a murderer,” haunt her, and Brennan suggests they have two options: involve the authorities or handle the situation themselves.
It seems Brennan’s plan for damage control might involve cleaning up the crime scene and possibly getting rid of a body!
Dante’s Desperate To Bring Cyrus To Justice
Cyrus’s crimes are documented by the police, revealing he confronted Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) while wielding a syringe filled with digitalis, which he used to stab Lucky Spencer (temporarily Guy Wilson).
As Lucky undergoes treatment, Dante and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) strategize about pursuing Cyrus, while Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) digs into historical records for clues about his whereabouts.
Dante asserts to Anna, “he can run, but that bastard can’t hide,” prompting a confident smile from Anna in agreement.
Unbeknownst to them, the threat posed by Cyrus has already been neutralized, leaving him no longer a danger. However, the question remains: will Brennan submit the evidence that Josslyn discovered, or will Cyrus continue to ‘elude capture” forever?
Brother Bargain, Drew Shocked
In the home that Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) purchased for himself, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), and their children, an unexpected visitor arrived—Jason, seeking a truce.
Drew, taken aback, gazed at his twin shocked as Jason proposed a ceasefire between them. He had already shared the reason behind his request: the late Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco).
Jason had made a solemn vow at her grave to prioritize Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn), who is also the half-brother of Emily “Scout” Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante). Can Jason persuade Drew to set aside their animosities and come together for the sake of family?
Fearful Family, Will Lucky Survive?
In the hospital, Lucky’s family anxiously awaits news as he receives treatment, clinging to the hope that the digitalis antidote administered by Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) will be effective.
However, fear looms over Aiden Webber (Colin Cassidy) and his mother, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst). Their expressions are filled with dread as Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) approach, concern etched on their faces.
Laura inquires about the situation, and through tears, Aiden reveals, “Dad’s dying!” Will fortune smile on Lucky once more, allowing him to pull through-will Lucky get lucky again?
Lucky Codes, Out Come The Paddles!
The syringe worked its deadly magic on Lucky almost instantly, likely propelling the digitalis through the femoral artery given the site of the injection. Elizabeth sprang into action with CPR, her pleas for him to hold on echoing in the air as they awaited the ambulance.
Meanwhile, in the ICU, Isaiah and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) face a grim reality—Lucky had coded. Portia swiftly applied the paddles, her voice ringing out with a determined “CLEAR!”
Isaiah’s heart races with concern for his friend, dread creeping in as he wonders if the antidote could still save him.
