General Hospital Spoilers: Mother-Daughter Conversations, Confrontational Cops, Ultimate Putdown!

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Friday, January 31 tease mother-daughter confrontations, confrontational cops, and an ultimate putdown!

Laura Collins (Genie Francis) has an important conversation with Lulu Spencer, (Alexa Havins) Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is confrontational, and Ava Jerome (Maura West) gives the ultimate putdown!

General Hospital Spoilers: Mother-Daughter Conversations

Laura and Lulu are sitting down for a coffee chat, but this isn’t just a casual meet-up; Laura is diving deep, confronting Lulu about her emotions.

Just recently Lulu and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) had a heart-to-heart about Lulu’s lingering feelings for Dante, and now Laura is ready to address the elephant in the room. With a knowing look, Laura lays it out for her daughter: “You’re still in love with Dante.”

Lulu, lost in thought, reflects on her past—she had tried to express her feelings to him, even as she collapsed in his arms after her traumatic brain injury. The truth is undeniable; her heart never truly moved on.

GH Spoilers: Confrontational Cops

Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is making a shrewd choice regarding Dante’s role in Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) murder case—his emotional ties are a liability.

Dante, however, challenges his superior, incredulity lacing his words as he questions, “I’m being shut out of Sam’s murder investigation?”

While Anna can empathize with Dante’s urge to uncover the truth about the woman he loved, the reality is that this path is fraught with peril, potentially spiraling into lethal retribution.

When a police officer becomes too personally involved in a case, the risk of them crossing the line into vigilante justice looms large, threatening to replace lawful resolution with bloodshed!

General Hospital Spoilers: Not So Helpful Friend

In the hospital room of Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) at GH, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) is doing her best to help-enlisting her mother, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), for a second opinion.

When a medical issue impacts someone’s life as profoundly as it has for Kai, seeking additional insights is always wise. He suffered a serious tackle during a crucial football game, but it’s not just the arm in a sling that’s the problem; it’s a vertebra injury, specifically L5.

Kai expresses his frustration to Trina, suggesting that her efforts might not be as helpful as she believes. Perhaps Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), who has triumphed over paralysis, could provide the support he truly needs.

GH Spoilers: Ahead Of The Game

Curtis is busy boasting to someone about being ahead of the game, but it’s not about overcoming his paralysis. Instead, he’s likely focused on his ambitious vision for Aurora Media, especially now that he’s freed it from Drew Quartermaine’s (Cameron Mathison) grip.

Initially, he and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) were supposed to lead the charge together, but with Michael currently healing in a burn unit in Germany, Curtis is flying solo.

He’s confident that his plans will succeed—but is he really referring to the company, or is he plotting to take down Drew  and ruining his political career in Washington, D.C.?

General Hospital Spoilers: Drew Does Protest!

Drew doesn’t seem to be in the presence of  Curtis, but his words could easily be interpreted as a desperate protest if he were! He responds to someone, emphatically stating, “that could not be more wrong”!

Is Drew outright denying his affair with his nephew’s wife and jeopardizing his marriage, or is he alluding to something completely different?

While Curtis seems to be enjoying himself at a club, Drew appears to be hitting the gym—likely Volonino’s, since it’s hard to believe he’d be at the Aurora Wellness Center. Especially after Curtis banned him from there!

GH Spoilers: Ultimate Putdown

Elsewhere, possibly the Metro Court,  Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) and Ava are enjoying a meal together when she suddenly turns the mood upside down with a jaw-dropping romantic rejection! Just days ago, they were locked in a passionate embrace, hinting at a blossoming romance  and dubbed ‘Rava.’

But now, Ava backtracks, insisting that kiss was nothing but a figment of imagination—at least in her eyes! And let’s not forget the awkward moment when Ric snatched that hefty check from Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) right out of her hand, claiming she hadn’t settled his bill!

General Hospital Spoilers: Kristina Encourages Sonny

In the meantime, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) is having a heart-to-heart with her father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), and it seems she might be alluding to Ric!

She asserts to Sonny, “he was  not going to win this case,” referring to Ava’s battle for sole custody of Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola).

Kristina is still reeling from the recent verdict that favored Ava in her case against her for the window incident at the Metro Court, a decision that left her in despair.

She was just weeks away from giving birth at the time  and lost the baby-naturally, she’s fiercely supporting her dad and doing everything she can to work  against Ava and Ric!
