General Hospital’s Steve Burton Slammed As ‘Terrible’

General Hospital fans can’t help but wonder if this is a compliment or a downright insult.

General Hospital’s Steve Burton Slammed As ‘Terrible’

That’s because actor Steve Burton, who is best known for his role as Jason Morgan has finally gotten acting ‘right’ in one of the latest episodes. So could this have meant that he was actually terrible this entire time? Maybe.

One General Hospital fan even took to social media to suggest that Steve’s most recent scene with actress Jane Elliott was one of his best in years.

The fan wrote, “I haven’t seen Steve Burton ACT in decades. There is NOTHING like two vets with such rich history sharing scenes together.”

“Jane and Steve were phenomenal today, and it was so soft, never over the top. Absolutely perfect.”

It goes without saying that there were a lot of General Hospital fans and critics who also had a lot to say about the matter as well.

Some even commented with, “General Hospital is soaping like soaps should SOAP!! Jason chose QUARTERMAINE. And almost cried with emotion for his mother– awe Monica! Against Sonny and Carly. Tracy was SHOOK! I was shook. It was glorious!! Steve Burton was brilliant and opened Jason up to so much more story.”

Another fan wrote, “As a Sonny and Carly fan, Jason did the right thing! Not only because Tracy was right about Willow still being able to deny access to Michael, but because Monica has lost way too many loved ones. I was proud of him for choosing his mom.”

General Hospital News: What’s Next For Jason Morgan In Port Charles?

“I loved everything about these scenes today. I’m so thankful they are finally giving Steve something more than just cleaning up after Sonny.

And then there was this comment as well: “Agreed…writers always made him so one note… while the new writers are having difficulty with larger stories… They are spot on with the individual characters and these one on one interactions. This is real character growth.”

General Hospital airs weekdays on the ABC network. Check your local listings for times.
