In fact, the President-Elect has made waves by confirming his desire to make Canada the next U.S. state, citing America’s $200 billion annual support and military backing as reasons for the move.
He revealed that this vision was part of his direct conversation with Justin Trudeau before the Canadian leader’s sudden resignation.
If that weren’t enough, Trump also hinted that military options remain on the table for unifying the U.S. with Greenland and reclaiming the Panama Canal.
Apparently, the push for Greenland might be linked to China’s strategic mining operations, where they have been extracting rare earth elements containing radioactive uranium and thorium for years.
Of course, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter. Some even commented with, “It may seem like a better economic decision to adopt Canada as the 51st State. Same with Greenland for its natural resources and Panama Canal.”
